  Around 7 years ago I went to one of these monistaries and was wearing shorts. I was given a pair of pants like nurses wear and was told to put them over my shorts. I did so but they did not fit very well and I eventually took them off and continued my visit without anyone challenging me. These monistaries are definitely worth the effort. Quite amazing places.

  We just got home from an awesome trip to Greece. We transferred MR to BA Avios during a transfer bonus and had a companion certificate to use, so it was BOGO on the RT tix. IAD > LHR > ATH. We stayed 2 days at InterContinental for less than $200 a day (corporate rate) with breakfast. Took a VV cruise (Greek Islad Glow). Then we stayed 1 night at Dolce by Wyndham on points. Love both your and Sebby's channels. I've learned a ton, and we've taken some great trips with things we've learned from you guys. :)

  We did Athens for a week last year and we went on a MSC cruise on the eastern Mediterranean. BTW: Kosta's was the best meal we had. We also stayed in an AirBNB near Koulaki.

  Is it worth it the extra footrest space you get on seat 2A&H? Or much better to get one of the uneven number window seats and have the seat by the window? Flying delta one in a couple of months and trying to decide. Thinking it will be nicer to have a little “lobby” space by the door if needed to get up while laying flat?

  I think it depends on you! If you're taller (or just prefer more space), than footrest is nice. If you prefer looking outside and daydreaming, it's a lot nicer to be closer to the window. I guess you could do the latter in economy though 🙃

  Thank you so much! It is an overnight flight so not much to see. Does the galley noise and lights bother on those seats? I am currently on 3h. Sorry so many questions. Have been waiting for a while to try the suites and I am super excited. Flying to Chile, last year I was going to be on them and they switch the plane last minute to a 350L :( hopefully that wont happen this time

  Sucks about last year :( I think the most annoying seats are usually by the back, by the restrooms. As long as you're not there, you should be fine :)

  Also, I think more lounges = more overall capacity = less crowding as a whole. Lounges are still doing a lot of catch-up to account for the number of premium cardholders. A big focus of the airlines, credit card companies, and just other groups as a whole, are adding lounge capacity. I think we'll be in a good spot in 3-5 years :)

  It was at capacity on opening day. Too busy and hectic, mediocre food at best. Worth a visit during off hours as it’s a beautiful space, but the terminal is modern and actually less hectic than the lounge. People foam at the mouth for free food so it will stay busy, but I’d rather seek refuge in the admiral’s club, chill at the gate, or go to a terminal restaurant.

  Thats crazy that this is a "The Club", between this and the Sapphire lounges they run, they are really changing their reputation! Thanks for this video, I didn't even know this was a thing, seems like it hasn't hit the rest of the blogosphere yet. With the loss of PP restaurants on the CSR, this will be my new stop. However, with this being open to PP and the amount of premium card holders in the Bay Area, I imagine this lounge will soon have very long lines.

  So, i understand that you can travel (air side) from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 now. Do you feel it would be worth it to go from (for example) Terminal 3 to Terminal 1 to use the lounge? [eta] Meaning if you had a flight leaving out of Terminal 3 . . .

  ☁ I went this past February, and this was my favorite part of our trip! We booked with a tour bus and got there around 1 pm. The tour had a lunch stop in Kalabaka but the moussaka I had was not very good unfortunately. I think your way of renting a car is the way to go to have more agency on where and when you visit. Do you have / need an international driver's license?
