🏰 always wanted to go. Parents were teachers so studying history, art,and music were highly encouraged growing up
The Garden is the best part about Versailles. The palace itself is almost always crowded.

🏰 Very cool wow!! Loved seeing Versailles and the bit of history you mentioned! Ohh interesting Ramsey’s place is there, I’ll be staying at the Waldorf in D.C. soon and they have Jose Andres’s Michelin Star restaurant as well so this video just got me excited 😂 Do you think they’ll give me those vouchers you got at your Waldorf? Great video Mandy, love seeing these places!

Nice! Love the Old Post Office building. Haven't stayed there yet, but most US city hotels have a mandatory destination fee. Be sure to use those benefits - usually includes a food/drink credit and some passes to attractions.
Omg thank you for this. I was gonna book this but the cheapest ones were the ones at the pavilion and I’ve read tons of bad reviews about it.

Glad it was helpful! Pavilion was very underwhelming.

@@MandyRoams looks like it. That’s why I decided to use my FHR in Korea than Paris. Thank you
Nice ending to the video. Definitely enjoyed that quick tour. Looks like you guys really enjoy escargot.

Haha, escargot is one of those dishes we only order in France. Otherwise, we don’t eat it at all in the US (usually from a can, not good, and $$).
Gonna be there in Oct hehe. 🎉

The concierge at the Waldorf.
🏰 its shocking that the hotel is that cheap usually
🏰 is it a pain to get from here to the Paris airport by the way?

Not too bad; about 1 to 1.5 hour by train or taxi/Uber (depending on traffic!)
🏰 hey did you guys book with FHR ? If not why not ?

Nope, didn’t use it this time to use the Amex Hilton Aspire resort credit. Would’ve been a loss for the Amex FHR property credit since we couldn’t get a reservation to Gordon Ramsay.
Dang that hotel room is quite mid.

Yup, very disappointing for a Waldorf Astoria property. Felt like a regular Hilton disguised as a WA.
Wine is absolutely not cheaper than water in EUROPE! What are you on about? 😂

I think he just wanted wine haha. We also didn't realize we had to ask for "une carafe d’eau" (and they kept bringing bottled water which was usually $10+): www.reddit.com/r/AskAnAmerican/comments/112ehjp/comment/j8jlqoz/
