They want to view items that aren’t available to others, discuss charges for alterations, order personalised items, etc. Well off people do not like to have commoners or other people around them when eating, shopping or getting treatments. Its weird. They are private about such details. Afterwards, they are public when using the item.

I also mix in fakes and change my bags every day when I go out. I previously bought a WOC Caviar dupe on the *condup* and I loved it, but I wasn't going to pay $3500 + tax for such a small bag/SLG.

This is not the highest level of shopping at Dior. Being a Dior haute couture client and shopping viewing the pieces privately in the made to measure salon is the most luxurious shopping experience. But the rtw experience is cute. Becoming an haute couture clients is not easily accessible for most.
