What certification did you recertify in?
I am currently studying to take my PMP exam. My application has been approved. I’ve been studying for a month now.
Very helpful. Thank you -
Congrats on senior 🎉n I’m a new subbie I love this content & I am def looking forward to more project management videos as I am starting this new career adventure soon so I’m taking in all information
💎
I was up last night trying to figure this out. I have been doing projects for a while in my careers and I love it! It’s so hard to transition my resume from education to project management
Could you speak more around change management, conflict & budget management components?
Yes of course. 🥰
I have the CAPM and I keep putting the PMP off for some reason, as if I don't know this stuff like the back of my hand...smh. But this is such solid advise and i'd just like to reiterate that networking is key...PMI has a great deal of networking opportunities but please don't sleep on volunteer opportunities. The people I have encountered have always been very supportive and ready to give sage advice.
I so love when my faves come to my city and have a good time!! Also, not you speaking on the AI Coworkers when i have PMI's Generative AI Overview on my other screen....guess i better get to it.
Would love a book club on this book!
New subbie here.... Completely fell in love w this video, grateful for YT for bringing this to my TL. I'm currently in UT Austin for my Masters degree in Project management, can't wait to break into the job market ❤❤❤❤❤

This looks delicious 😋 try this recipe boneless chicken breast whole not butterflied extra virgin olive oil natural lemon and lime juice cracked black pepper and ground pepper lemon zest and lemon pepper seasoning and Paprika seasoning cut slits in the breast diagonal and add garlic clove slices add chicken to marinade after adding the garlic slices Marinade in the fridge for 6 to 8 hours then place in the oven or on the grill the oven makes it very delicious 😋 I’m making it this morning on the grill for a first time!!!! Temperature I do is between 375 and 400 degrees!!! for an hour I didn’t measure out the ingredients just went by eye balling but it still came out moist and delicious 😋
Loved this ❤🌟
Thank you for this info! My position at the university that I work at shifted about from managing people to managing projects and I recently completed a project management course through our university. I’m in the process of studying for my certification exam and when you mentioned that your former employer paid for the certification, it hit me like, “Wait a minute! These folks changed my role, let me see if they’ll pay for this cert.” 😂 I’ll be sending them an email first thing Monday morning. Thank you!!!!!!
Good luck! 🥰🙌🏾 I hope they cover it for you.
Love this; 🖤🖤
Great video!! Just an idea you should do your own course where you train people how be a project manager.

Happy 4th of July to you as well love
Hi Kristyn! Thanks for the video and PM tips! Currently, I'm working on an integration project at work related to streamlining a workflow process and moving off a vendor's site and bringing it in-house, i.e., cost savings and eliminate dependency. For some reason, I never thought this project could be related to proj. mgmt because there's no charter, budget, etc., but your video proved me wrong! I'm going to look into some online certification courses and see what's out there! Thx again 😊
That’s awesome and yes it sounds most definitely like a project. Take advantage and add that feather to your hat aka resume! 🙌🏾
I'm so happy I surrounded myself with women like you in my 20's.random as hell so when I get divorced it's gonna be huss huss.
Recently Kstar here! Thank you for this vid! I love you to be my boss! 😅 If you can also do another video answering this question: What or how the impact of being an introvert person doing a PM Role? I love project management but I am so introverted that I worry I can’t really connect with my network stakeholders or team. Thaaanks Kristyn! ❤
Thank you 🙏🏾 when you study the PMBOK one of the consistent messages is communication is #1 as a PM. That communication comes in a lot of forms from presentations, holding people in authority accountable with with no authority over them, raising red flags where appropriate etc. The biggest thing is are you comfortable in situations like that or situations that require confrontation? If yes I don’t see an issue but that would be what I would recommend considering. I hope that helps!
I qualified to sit for my PMP!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Info starts at 5:45
Buongiorno ❤❤
I greatly appreciate you taking your time to do this video planting a seed to consider PM. I am a seasoned teacher (15 years) transitioning to a new remote position as a STEM Curriculum Developer for an education software company starting soon! After 6 months, I definitely plan on stepping up and seeking out opportunities to lead a project just to dip my toe in and get a feel for it.😊
