Work bullies are horrible horrible people. Made my life a living hell at a company I really liked. I wished I had addressed the situation sooner than later. I also know the management knows exactly what us going on in the department. ( in my case did nothing). I eventually left and was blessed with a $30k raise and now a rock star because I learned so much before leaving.,,

I loved the way you handled the bully at work. I am a manager of people and many processes (government, not corporate), and there is always someone who wants to challenge me in a bully-like way based on a decision I've made. I really need to have a "standard" way of dealing with them. I've spent too much time trying to appease folks, always trying to be agreeable, but sometimes I have to really stand up for myself and not feel bad about it or worried about what folks will think. It can be a challenge for sure!

It’s like a disease, they bully all day long for no reason. Keep God with you and praying without ceasing. They see your light and can’t stand it. Keep shinning⭐️⭐️⭐️🤩🤩🤩

My sister was bullied as a kid and adult. Now me, I am not the one. I don't like a bully, and shame on anyone that's like that. But remember, what goes around, comes around.

Thank you for addressing workplace bullying, luckily I have never had issues with addressing bullying in the workplace for myself because it really has never happened to me (mainly because most people say I come off as intimidating LOL), but I have witnessed it and I am the advocate co-worker! I will address it if I see a supervisor talking to a co-worker crazy in a group setting, and if a co-worker confides in me I always see what they want to do and tell them things they can do to try and put a stop to it.

I’m so proud of you for standing up for yourself. As women, I feel like we tend to take a lot and let things slide; I’m getting better about standing on things I believe and speaking up too, so good for you. I’m sorry you even had to deal with that. But this was another great video, you looked beautiful, and I really hope you decide to release the content you’ve been thinking of. Sounds like it’s been on your heart for a while and it’ll be something really helpful to people.

Thank you for this topic, I have not always been able to handle work bullying in the correct way. I usually try to ignore and just work through it, but that just let things get worse. I allowed myself to get angry and lash out at one point. It definitely could have been handled better. What you said helped a lot.

I’m glad you professionally addressed the work bullying. I too have dealt with work bullies. And in the past I used to just push through it and go along to get along. But not anymore. I might take some time to get my notes in order, but I eventually address it. Had to do this with former supervisor, unfortunately.

I'm experiencing bullying from my current manager and, tbh, I'm shocked with how passive aggressive and rude he is towards me since he was so friendly in the beginning. I am going to stand up for myself because I don't want a hostile work environment and as I'm getting older (I'm 23) I am not allowing people, doesn't matter who they are or what they do, disrespect me. Thank you for sharing your experience. Looking back on it, maybe I needed to experience it as a warning to beware of people like that again as I move up. Thank you again!!!

Thanks for the advice on work bullies. My team and I have been working with one. His own team has complained about him and other professionals that have come across him. This dude triggers me and I am one of the primary people who works with him. Your advice is great. Unfortunately, I finally had to put a stop to his behavior and submitted a complaint to my team lead. Two years was too long to deal with this dude. I stated that he was unprofessional and aggressive. I have a good reputation at work over the past 17 years. I didn't get upper management involved, but I submitted a complaint in writing about his behavior for record keeping.

I feel you. One thing that you may find helpful is asking chat GPT generic questions about what is legal and not and the best way to proceed. I use some of their verbiage when addressing it on my end and it really helped keep it very professional and also demonstrate I was serious. It gives a clear definition of what work place harassment is and you can ask if certain things qualify. It’s pretty interesting how helpful it is.

OK that is one thing I’m going to have to work on in trying to transition into project management. If I have an issue as address it on the spot. But maybe I should take the time to go back to discuss it later. I’ve never had a work place bully at least one that was successful that I would call it bullying 😆

Tfs! I started the program you recommended but it's trading futures. I don't know much about futures and options, im not sure if it's time to pivot in that direction.
