Recent college grad, just getting into the workfield. I started my Project Management certificate course not too long ago, and 1 week later, I found your channel. Hearing you speak about your day-to-day really makes me excited about the career path that I've chosen. I enjoy your videos!

Meeting with stakeholders prior to project meetings is a great idea. Picking their brains beforehand can only add to the success of the project and I image gives you a leg up, so to speak. I am particular about my wires too. If they are a mess the office vibe is off for sure. Thank you for the PM tips.

Oh nice plant light, Kristyn! Never thought I would be a plant 🪴 mom. But my Nanna passed away, and she loved growing plants. So I decided to start taking care of one of the plants that were given to us by family friends at her funeral. I had no clue what I was doing. Plant almost seemed to be gone, but it’s now growing new roots, and the leaves are lifted 🍃 I feel closer to her growing the plants. Enjoyed seeing your office space and watching the day in the life video! ❤⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hey Ashley, Yes I do use a PPT Template for my initiation meetings (the one I am using is proprietary to the company I work for now.) I do highly recommend using one though and it could be made using the questions I put in this video or something similar.

Hello Kristyn I recently applied for PM Course in a university, will be resuming by September 2023. PM is it's a whole new world for me,I'll really love to familiarise myself with it before resuming classes by September, to avoid struggling alot. Came across your KZread channel. As someone who has worked within the Medical Device Industry, how do you adjust your project schedule constraints when your company or client has limited resources to allocate to your critical path deliverables. Also, have you used Critical Chain (ProChain) vs Critical Path (Microsoft Project) software platforms? If so, any thoughts on the software platform.

Good Morning, if the organization has limited resources for critical path deliverables then I would have to level set with the project owners on what they really want done to ensure realistic expectations. The project plan also helps to explain this story to ensure expectations are realistic. As all vested stakeholders want the project to be successful. Most of the time however due to the industry and project types I’ve worked on project funding is typically non-negotiable. I’ve used Microsoft Protect only but I’m not a fan tbh. It’s so archaic and ridged to me.
