it's concerning to me that one can spend $80k on a small trailer like this, expecting 100% quality end to end and have so many problems. seriously...is there any RV out there that takes quality seriously w/ every unit sold?

If you ever sell your Airstream, who ever buys it, they may not have any issues for a long time because you have worked out all of the issues. This is why it's better to buy used RV's because the previous owners already worked out and fixed most of the issues since brand new RV's have a lot of issues.

It would worth your $ to buy a trailer if you have time go camping at least once a month for the next 10 years! Rental fee cost about $200/night. Says you go camping 3 days every month. That’s $600/months = $7,200/year. You do not need to worry about maintenance, repairs, registration fee, insurance etc.

Fast forward to 2:22 if you want to see their list. Fan: Its working. 2 rivets loose. Not a big deal Stove gaskets. Not seeing this a a world ender Sink is moving. A drawer moisture issue. Looks like something spilled inside. Owner issue Stain on the floor. Possibly from the AC unit use or overuse? Need a rug. Bathroom exhaust doesn't work. Check the fuse? bathroom pull down blind doesn't work. Maybe because the shower has something to do with it? Batteries life span issue. Don't know if they are living in this 25/8 while boondocking? Shore power to recharge? Sick? Frig or propane tank fumes? Sounds like a leak. Awning hook missing. Not seeing an issue with your Caravel. Easily fixable. I have a 2016 is great shape if you want to trade.

Must not hate it that much, if you've lived in it for 2 months? IMO, the Bambi is not designed to live in it for months. Consider getting a bigger one, like the 22. The five things you dislike are inconveniences. They are easily solvable!

the 5 things you hate are minor. you can have an electrician add USB ports, you can leave the battery out of the one smoke detector. the trailer's small enough that the other one will work for you. if the cushion bothers you, throw it out. u can buy a toilet paper holder online. it's a great little trailer. happy travels!

There are two types of smoke detectors. Ionization and Photoelectronic. The Ionization is probably the most common and is the most sensitive. If that smoke detector were photoelectronic, your problem would probably be solved.

Your symptoms point to propane poisoning. I hope you have installed propane detectors by now. All of the problems you've pointed out might have taken a long time to appear for the owner who only uses their trailer a couple of months or less per year. And then it would likely be out of warranty. Your constant use for five months has revealed some flaws that occasional users will need to keep an eye out for. Thank you for this!

We learned the hard way as well. Always setting off the alarm.. You don't have to take out the battery. Just open the exhaust fan vent. There should be a little tab on the vent outside your airstream..
