Great bargain. That car should go a long time, it's actually not prone to problems. Good luck have fun, I smile every time I drive it.

You got a better deal than I did, but I’m in Hawaii where everything’s expensive. I bought the same car in Montreal Blue Pearl. I love it!!

Nice buy! I've owned my '01 Z3 2.5 since 2003 and it only has 75k mi now. It had 7k, when I bought it. It has been a great, fun, reliable ride! I plan to keep mine as long as possible.

    Are repairs expensive? Im looking at a 2000 2.8L 5 speed z3

@@alepepperoni2563 It depends on the repair and where you get it serviced. A BMW dealer will always cost more than an independent repair shop. If you have a local place you use, you can ask them what they charge for various services...brake job, oil change, plug replacement, etc. My local shop charges $75 for a synthetic oil change, but the Z3 requires an additional 2 qts of oil for another $15. I had a front brake job done for $500. Good luck!

Hey KingEmu I do not have any preference in regards where to shop for mods. Usually I like to restore the cars to their original shape without having to fully replace everything new or I hire someone that can get the car fixed if there's any mechanical issues or major cosmetic issues.

new ones sure. bmws from the z3, e36, e39 era are simpler that a modern honda. all you gotta do to make a bimmer from that era last to make it last other than regular fluids, brakes, shock is replace the cooling system, vacuum system every 60k mi . bushings every 100k.
