Towing Our Airstream With The Porsche For The First Time.

We've traveled with our 2020 Airstream Caravel 16rb for Months and some things didn't go as expected. Our previous SUV was totaled and soon enough our mini chill pill (Airstream) started braking down. After 3 months in the shop, we are finally picking up our Airstream and will be towing our new suv (Porsche) with it! We can't wait to get back on the road!

Love the setup, it looks gorgeous! One thing I did notice though, you need to cross your chains under the tongue of the trailer. This is because if the ball fails and comes unhooked the tongue will drop onto the crossed chains and will allow for a safe stop instead of the tongue dropping onto the ground/pavement. Hope to see you on the road! I have a 25’ Airstream Safari that I purchased from the Tampa Airstream in 1999.

Hi, glad you guys come back. (1) One question regarding the airstream, in previous video "10 things that broke on our airstream during our 5 month trip", you mentioned that you guys went to emergency room. Did the airstream engineering explain to you why that happened? Is it a gas leak? (2) why there is stain on the floor, is it the shell leak? Hopefully, they find the reason and fix resolved the issue. Hope you guys be safe on the trip and never have any issue with potential gas leak again.

Your Airstream floor damage is from using area mats with a rubberized backing. The linoleum floor does not hold up to the rubber backing of area floor mats. Only use area rugs with no added backing. Our home builder told us this when we bought out new home. Also, my wife and I enjoy your channel. You two are a cute couple. Congrats! On the baby! Your world is about to get rocked! But for the better. ✌️

Porsches are great. I’ve owned many. However I would never use it as a long distance tow vehicle. Maintenance is key and MUST be done by a qualified technician. Near a major city, that’s not a problem. Everywhere else? It’s a problem. And fixing it wrong is worse than not fixing it at all. Good luck.
