    I understand your point, however it's very simple functionality that should be in MM by default, so I didn't want to waste time on something, that's just for visual representation only 😃 And on the other side it teaches users how to use materials from MM website and how to save nodes into a user library.

    Hello, unfortunately its not possible. It can be done via shader using similar technique, but it needs to be recreated inside the engine :) I would suggest to search for something like "Unity dissolve effect" :)

    How to connect all the nodes from the mockup to the matterial output? also how to get out of the ("Tab") Exploded material.

    Just connect one socket and it should connect all of them automatically if socket names match.

    Nice tutorial bro. I'm trying to make a conveyor belt, I got it working but it isn't seamless with other conveyor belts, do you have a fix for this?

    I have a problem when I export the animation the UV sphere appears in mesh in the rendering, what can I do to prevent it from being there ?

    In the outliner open advanced filters, select a camera icon and disable it on the sphere object.

    There's many ways to do so. I would suggest to search for some disintegration effect in Unity :)

    Is there a way to animate the controller to increase in scale and have the model burn as the controller gets larger? Right now it only burns if I move the controller.

    I just figured out I can do this by key framing the Lowest parameter of the VertextWeightProximity Modifier on the model.

    This is a really impressive tutorial but being newish to blender, the reason why you did most of the steps was totally lost on me, especially all the nodes and linkages. Some subtitles explaining what you were doing and why would of helped alot. As it stands it abit beyond my understanding to be of practical use.

    Thank you so much. Actually it really old tutorial and such effect could be dont now more procedurally using geometry nodes. I may do a new tutorial in the future with voiceover explaining this effect using geometry nodes :)

    @@pavelolivaartDon't show the full node graph all at once. Maybe when you're making each node, zoom into each node as you explain its relevance in the node graph. EDIT: You actually do this in the video, but you don't stay zoomed in (and thus focused) on any one node long enough or you haven't zoomed in enough to clearly see the text on the node.

    Great video btw. I was wondering why I can't get the same result. The "Fill to Gradient" node no longer has the scale or random scale parameters. Also, the "Blend" node works completely differently.

    Thank you so much :) Fill to gradient now uses different input format (yellow sockets), but the parameters haven't changed at all. You mght be lookin on "Fill node". Blend node node got a cool new feature, so the design decission was to swap inputs to fully support it. So every time you see me plugging anyting into top input, it should be in the bottom input and vice versa.

    I tried to do something like this and even with the baked UVs I still don't get the noise textures to wrap around the model in the right way. can you make a breakdown of how you achieve it?

    I am glad you like that one :) I would like to do more tuts, but there's a stockpile of geometry nodes tutoriasl I would like to do first :) Also I plan to do a series where I use both MM and geometry nodes in Blender to create procedural assets ;)

    @@fadofficialmusic VFX in Godot? I dont make stuff in Godot (except using Material Maker) as I don't have any experience with that. I may try to do some VFX in Blender though as I've done some in the past if people would like this type of content :)

    @@harshitology3498 Make sure to have Node wrangler addon enabled. Make sure your model's scale is set to 1,1,1 and also it's scene scale dependant, so you may use different values if you model has different dimensions. If your model is made out of separate parts, you hav eto either join them or copy materials and modifiers onto each of them :)

    Thank you so much ^^ You need to make an account on the website and log in. Then go to the application and click on the link icon in top right corner. It will connect the app to the website. After that click on the planet icon next to it and a new tab in your browser should appear. Just fill in the form and click on share :)

    Cool! SD is fine for trims. Personally I like a lot combination of Quixel Mixer + Affinity Designer (for layout) when making trims. Btw here are 2 trimsheets I've made in MM, so you can learn from the graph :) www.materialmaker.org/materials?search=trim&type=material

    I've baked colorID map in blender and used that to make mask for blending between materials. This way is obsolete now as MM nowdays allows to create masks from colorID map for different layers in painting mode, so you don't have to have multiple materials inside one material (I hope it makes sense)

    hello. Thanks for sharing. I would like to know if it work on more simple models. I Tried on a simple cube (subdivided) but i only get spikes. Am i missing something?

    Hello, it should work even on more complex simple meshes, however keep in mind, that number of polygons limits "the resolution" of those disconnected pieces. So a cube with low polycount may produce weird results. Also you have to use edge split modifier to make those faces be able to disconnect each other :)

    Thank you so much. Actually I would recommend doing it with geometry nodes as it's faster, more non-destructive and more customizable :)
