Thanks for the focus on the UC San Diego PA program. I was, in fact, asked that exact question by many. Great work on your videos. Very thorough. - Elias
such a helpful video!!
You're awesome! Thank you so much. I'm currently in my first semester of PA school and my adviser suggested I study more with partners. What was your experience regarding group study? :) thank you again!!
This is great! Thanks for sharing. I am also a Latina pre-PA student applying to CASPA this cycle and trying to start a KZread channel myself.
Hello, I am a foreign medical graduate right now my university is unable to upload my documents, while my evaluation agency is able to send that how I can do that. Secondly, do I need to have Toefl
What does it mean if a program has Probation F** next to it. Also how long can a program stay under that specific probation because it’s been a while and it’s still there.
This is great information. Would love to connect with you whenever you have a minute.
Hi Mario, what brand of scrubs are you wearing?
HI Mario, what brand of scrubs are you wearing?
I think I may be studying wrong. Bc just getting through a few questions on rosh takes me 2 hours.😢
Thank you so much! I’m a nurse who decided to go the PA Route and I’m redoing these old pre-read and figuring out the application process! This video was so helpful!
Western U has now been allowed by ARC-PA to seat a class for the upcoming school year. This must mean that the reviews they had have been successful? They have another site review in March 2025. What do you think about this? 4:55
Hi, thanks for the video! I just graduated undergrad this month, and won’t apply until next cycle (so I’d be submitting in May 2025.) Can I ask undergrad professors for letters of rec now when I am fresh in their minds? If PA schools are reading letters of rec from a year or two ago, will they frown upon this? Thanks!
I can’t get over the CPR at the beginning 🫣 no depth at all
hi, do you have a video on how you make the charts?
thank you for sharing all these videos! I’m binge watching them before I start PA school in less than 6 weeks 😬🥳 where did you end up working after graduation??
That white pittie was absolutely beautiful! 😍🥰
Did you have any issues sharing a rosh account? Some of the people in my cohort want to share one but sure if it will allow us to use one account
No issue at all to my knowledge. Same goes for Uworld and SmartyPance
I just found a cheaper program in Colorado . Red rocks community college , the only one offering a master degree in U.S $75,000 ! So for those living near Colorado, check it up!
Cool!!
Hello, great video bro. I live in Upland, Ca and im becoming more and more interested in exploring the medical field. It might just be a mid-life crisis but nonetheless the desire is there. What would you say about the Radiation Science Bachelors Degree at Loma Linda University with an Associates degree in Health Sciences from Cal Baptist University? Obviously the Associates degree will come first.
Isn't it fact that a Bachelors Degree is needed to apply for a PA program?
Thank you for the excellent summary. Should I enter certifications that have expired that I do not use any more, such as PEPP, GEMS, ITLS, and PHTLS? I only listed my current active ones of BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
Thank you so much this advice is gold. I do have one question. I’ve heard that classes are mandatory (unlike in some medical schools where you can skip and self study) can you talk about how you took advantage of that class time? Did you take notes? Make anki? Study anki? Or tried to just follow along and study after class?
Thank you for this. 🫶🏼
I'm a bit confused about what I need to do. In 2023, I requested for my transcripts to be sent to CASPA. CASPA just opened 2 days ago, and I've taken more class since then. Do I just continue adding to the Transcript Entry section? Do I have to request for an updated transcript to be sent to CASPA? Also, I have a single class left to take online at a different institution. I don't take that until Fall 2024, how does that work if I want to apply now?
This deserves more likes !!!

Thanks for this. It is super helpful. I recently got into a program that is on probation and I also heard about the "matriculation guarantee" while reading some articles. Seems like that really is not the case. It definitely makes you think twice before accepting an offer from a program that is not fully accredited.
starting in a month and preparing by watching these - they're so helpful and can't thank you enough!
loveeee the transparency!
Hello, I want to become a physician assistant and I would love to text you some of the questions I have about it that I wasn’t able to find the answers to. Is that possible?
Please I will need your clarification on this, a student coming from Africa with a BSc In Physician Assistantship how do you apply?
Thanks for the video it clarified me alot! However the Physician I have worked for retired and I lost contact with her but she gave me a letter of recommendation. Can I still be able to upload that?
Me aceptaron a tres universidades para sus PA programs y no se pq, pero siento q sera un eror. quiero viajar jajaja
Hello! I see that you graduated from UCLA. I am a high school senior that has UCLA as a choice to attend and was wondering how you liked it there? Do you feel that it’s a good school to go as a pre-pa student? Was maintaining a high GPA while accumulating PCE feasible? Thank you!
Thmk u so mch for doing this video.....
Please ,what's the salary of emergency assistant
This video is SOO very helpful since I will be applying this upcoming cycle (((:
wow, coming from a Mexican household tambien, this is super inspiring!! Thank you so much for your channel!!
I can only imagine that going From zero medial background to PA school must be a challenge.
I don’t believe in coincidence anymore, only synchronization. I get out of the Army this year and move back to Sacramento. I recently decided to change my Major from business to being a PA because of some recent soul searching. You’ve given me hope bro. Continue to do great things! Maybe one day I’ll run into you!
Thank you so much for the amazing video. I am in my first semester of didactic - about to be in my second semester so this video was very enlightening.
what if we did a poster presentation at a conference but the research was never published?
does anyone know if the covid 19 question is still on CASPA? covid played a significant role in me choosing to pursue a career in medicine.
Whats' with the lack of sound?
My apologies! I recommend going to the audio settings of your device/laptop and converting "stereo" to "mono". I made the mistake of exporting and posting this video with only the LEFT audio track. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching.
I graduated medicine course in ph. Do i stiill need 2 yrs PA school?
Amazing video!! How do you recommend studying question you got wrong? Did you have a methodical approach to that? I’m in need of guidance lol
“Through the direct provision of God”…….👍. My daughter is currently an undergrad at UC Davis who is planning on attending PA school. I shared this video with her. Thank you.
Hi Mario, thank you for this detailed video, go Bruins! I graduated ucla around the same time as you, now circling back to PA. I was wondering if you ever mentioned academic probation on your application, since you fell below a 2.0 gpa the semester you got the F. I'm in a similar boat, got 2 D's one semester and fell below 2.0 and was on probation the next quarter. I barely remembered it until I saw the question on CASPA asking about it. It would help me out a ton to hear your insight. Thank you!
