    Great instructions. We had water leaking out the front door of our LG refrigerator and water accumulating on the bottom of the inside. I Googled that issue and found your video along with a couple of others. The thorough explanations of each step in resolving this problem were far more helpful than the other videos. I followed your instructions and the problem is resolved. Thank you so much!

    Hi I have a Samsung RF23HTEDBSR/AA with inverter board 06DA9200763B, the board blink 1 at a time so i replaced it and my fridge worked for 4 days and failed back to 1 blink. I replaced my inverter board again and it worked for another 4 days and reverted failed again with one blink. My compressor ohms out ok and it runs after replacing the inverter board each time. The codes on the front display are 40C,61C,65C and 81C no compressor lock alarm. Any ideas why it only works for 4 days after replacing the inverter board?

    This video is absolutely amazing!! Yo were so clear and exact on everything. Thank you so much for this video. I was able to change the igniter without one hiccup! Only one problem, What else could it be if its not the igniter? I tested the old one and it read really low. Bought a new one and it tested good. Replaced it and I still cant get the oven to work. The broiler works. suggestions?

    Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad the video was helpful. If your oven is still not working properly, you might want to check the gas valve or thermostat next. However, it might be best to call a professional technician to diagnose the issue before you handle safety valves.

    Hello, I have a GE model pfcs1njwass refrigerator and it has the exact control board. The refrigerator is not cooling and the compressor is not running at all. I suspect the control board so I tried to troubleshoot following your instructions. But strangely, on my refrigerator , the connector cable (the one you put a jumper in) only has 2 wires (blue and brown). There is 120vac across the blue and brown wires and only 20vac across the brown and compressor pin. Not sure what to do next? Why no black to the compressor? Any ideas? Thx

    Great video, thank you! One question...what is the resource on your tablet that lists the resistance ranges for the different parts? When I tested mine, they were a bit off of the ranges you mentioned, so I'm not sure if they are in an acceptable range or not. Any help pointing in the direction of that site/resource would be appreciated!

    Korean brands such as Samsung & LG have consistently low reliability & durability. I have several friends who complained that their KOREAN appliances gave them a great deal of headaches with breakdowns and expensive repair bills within two to three years of buying a brand new appliance . My own experience is with the cell phone SAMSUNG wherein the battery power started to progressively weaken after the second year of ownership resulting in 2-3 recharges within a day of slight usage !

    What if there is no power to the cold side that's the one that is not working on my machine

  • @onlineappliancetech
    @onlineappliancetech7 күн бұрын

    If you press the cold water setting and test with a multimeter but do not get any power, it indicates a bad main control, which is unusual. Most of the time, the issue is with the water inlet valve. Did you select cold only and check the power to the valve? If so, and you did not get 120 volts, it would indicate a bad main control. Hope this helps!

    I have the same fridge. My same fan is not running, I also noticed it looks like the fan at the top of the module (behind the air filter) is not running either. Do you think it is as simple as replacing the same fan motor you did? What I mean is is there any chance that if one wasn't running the other would stop? Or do you think it could be a relay or thermistor of some sort?

    Good video, I am on my 3rd control board now, when I bought the Fridge new 6 years ago the board went out 1 month after warranty I was able to find a rebuilt one on Amazon for $89.00 now I see that they are now around $200! Did not see any rebuilt ones available, very poor design with a short life, both failures were due to the LED'd burning out right now it is totally unreadable. I have to put a thermometer in the fridge and freezer to check temperatures, I am able to set the temperatures to default which I am assuming is 0'F for the freezer and 40'F for the fridge as I am not able to read anything. After watching your video, I now see why I am having ice cubes stick together, I assume the gasket cannot be bought without buying the whole assembly? Also my water filter is now stuck in the filter head which I have already ordered the part for, I really like the fridge but the parts just eat you up, fortunately I am able to do a lot of the work myself. Thanks for your video.

    Thank you for your reply! I'm happy to help. However, I would recommend choosing OEM parts over rebuilt or third-party options. While you may save money with the latter, there's a risk that the part may not work correctly.
