This video is absolutely amazing!! Yo were so clear and exact on everything. Thank you so much for this video. I was able to change the igniter without one hiccup! Only one problem, What else could it be if its not the igniter? I tested the old one and it read really low. Bought a new one and it tested good. Replaced it and I still cant get the oven to work. The broiler works. suggestions?

If both the oven and the broil do not turn on? My top burners lite fine without any issue. But oven and broil will not ignite. Does broil have a separate ignitor that may also need to be replaced?

It sounds like the safety valve might be the issue. You may want to have a technician come out and diagnose the valve.

Is there a way to replace the igniter without removing the burner? Burner front screw will not turn.

You can do it this way; however, it’s better to remove it to avoid stripping the screws.

If the bake function is not working, replace the bake igniter. If the broil function is not working, replace the broil igniter. Hope this helps!

Dude, they are nuts.

Have this exact model and just replaced the igniter for the oven and it lite up heated to 240 degrees and stopped and no longer lights up or glows. Reset, checked contacts but won't glow. The broil igniter does not light up/glow either. Any suggestions?

Thanks, pulled the new igniter and it was bad and arced, tested old broil igniter with ohmmeter and it was bad. No error codes. Have 2 identical stoves and just replaced the igniter a couple months ago on the other stove. Going to exchange the new igniter that arced. Will let you know next week after I replace both.

By process of elimination installed 2 new ignitors. I believe the other igniter I installed that lite up and arced affected the control board. Neither broil or bake will light up now. Don't see any error codes you are talking about. The process of elimination is much cheaper than any repairman in my area. Lol. I could buy a brand new one cheaper. So i'm learning. When I click bake or broil it will make the click sound on the control board but nothing happens with the ignitors.

If the bottom does not have a glow and the broiler also doesn't ignite you say it is not the igniter. What else it could be?

If you test both components and neither works, the issue may be with the safety valve regulator.

I have been dealing with a strange issue. Every time my oven turns on the fan the GFCI pops (former electrician). We replaced the fan motor because the coils were worn and the motor arced to the frame. Nothing bad, just a small spot. Cleaned off the sheet metal to ensure good contact to the component. The GFCI still pops. This oven is on the same circuit as my microwave, which does not pop the GFCI. Look at the entire harness, it looks perfectly fine. Checked continuity on the plug for the stove, all connections are solid and have good continuity. GFCI still pops. Has anyone dealt with this situation before. It is driving me nuts. Any help greatly appreciated.
