When you read the original Buddhist scriptures, or speak with a teacher who knows what the Lord Buddha taught, you will find the the Lord Buddha forbid monks to perform any such displays of 'supernatural' powers,. It is not that the monks are not allowed to use powers they may have, but they are not allowed to display them publicly or even mention that they possess such skills. This is not a critique to the monks mentioned in your documentary, I am just saying that we should not be focusing on the 'supernatural' powers, as apparently they are the 'side-effects' of genuine practice, and not the goal.

Peng kozaski or kozauxi is not a tibetan name and this story is fake. I am Tibetian and i have never encountered such a trapa (monk) who has fire breathing power. And please don't spread misinformation because a lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.

My uncle was once in monkhood in Thailand. He has cultivated ability to hear and see something in very far away or hidden places and see past life. The key of practicing is actually to get peace of mind but the paranormal ability is a plus for some people. It can take a few days for some and it can take forever for some.

An older monk and his protege parted ways. The younger monk going deep into the mountains to develop siddhi's. Twenty years passed and they met again on a pilgrimage route. They soon came to a broad river, and the older monk paid two cents for the ferryman to take him across. The younger monk, eager to show off his supernatural attainment, walked across the river to the astonishment of the ferryman. When the older monk reached the other shore the younger monk asked him why did he not use his own siddhi's to also walk across the water. To which the older monk replied; And why did you spend twenty years in the mountains just to save two cents? (Paranormal powers just make more karma.)

Nice pictures of the mountain and monks, and you can believe what you will, but this is bullshit. Don't besmirch and belittle the efforts of millions of Buddhists and thousands of monks with such nonsense. Paranormal skills are possible, but these are a fantasy. Did you see it yourself? All a monk is concerned with is the cessation of desire and the dawning of the Buddha nature. Anything else, including siddhi's, is a trap in ones sadhana. When you experience the inner Self for yourself you will realize the error in your thinking. Siddhi's come to those who are not tempted by them, and lay themselves at his feet. Siddhi's are not a spectacle to induce belief. (The fire breath is Tummo, not a circus "fire breathing" act! Shame on you!)

There is no external deity coming in. What appears to be a deity comes out of you. It is within you. Masters, a guru, knows how to awaken what is already inside you. These things are real. I have witnessed them here in the West. There are still very great Lamas. You should see HH Sakya Trizin Rinpoche while he is still here on Earth, and of course, see the HH Dalai Lama at least once in your life. It is hard to be a practitioner and not get results. Never give up. Practice from the heart. The effects are inevitable. Sincerely chant Om Ma Ni Pad Me Hum and the path will open.
