This is the Alpacka Caribou Packraft. So far I am really loving it and it’s been very durable 👍. This model only comes in one size. Alpacka does make other raft models in different sizes though. I purchased it directly from their website. Appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment. ATB

It’s definitely not always accurate but it was spot on with my last couple camps which was nice. I monitor quite a few different weather apps while heading out on a trip though. Best to just always be prepared for anything I suppose. Appreciate you watching

Thanks for watching and subscribing! 1. Hilleberg Nammatj 2. It’s expensive but they are hand made and this tent can handle anything 👍 2. This is jacket is the old REI Rainer Rain Jacket. It’s nothing special just a lightweight 2.5 layer jacket. 3. I personally prefer trangia for a few reasons. It’s silent. I can see and take exactly how much fuel I need. I burn bioethanol in it so it also does not produce soot or CO. It also works well in both warm and cold environments. Lighting it in the cold is the only difference. Gas stoves are great also though. Just personal preference

Another excellent video, I like the packraft adventure! Nothing like exploring these little islands, so exciting. I do share your irritation about people not caring about LNT. Just came back from WHW (and yes, I know it’s an immense overcrowded and popular hike) and had many of the same annoyances. ‘Oh this looks like a nice place to shelter or setup camp’, littered of human sh*t. Verry annoying. Anyways, thanks for the nice video haha!

I find just warming a Tortilla wrap Pitta Bread etc etc either in a pan or just simply turning it over a flame makes it a totally different meal no matter whats inside it. Just the fact its warmed makes it seem more of a meal as opposed to cold where it just feels like a sandwich or maybe it just me. Anyway great video as is usual i always thoroughly enjoy them. Always feel hungry right after too 😂 take care 👍

👍 The Nammatj 2 is an incredible tent. Very pricey but for a handmade tent I can trust in the worst conditions I have found it to be worth the cost 👍. It can also be sold used at nearly the same price you pay for it as well. Appreciate you wanting

Y dnt u guys (solo trekkers)use the drone instead of coming back for the camera everytime...u guys almost walk double the distance.

My hike can take anywhere from 2-6 hrs. A drone battery only last 30 mins and takes time to setup. Way more sense to just walk for 5 seconds away from the camera and come back 👍. It’s definitely a bit of extra walking but it’s worth it to give a better idea of the terrain and a sense of scale. Appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment. ATB

It was really nice to have a change of pace on this camp. I really enjoyed getting out on the water with the packraft so you will definitely be seeing it in future videos! I was able to get the camera to turn back on after spending a week in the rice. However, the viewfinder is unusable because it was still filled with water, so I had to put the camera back in the rice. The lens on the other hand is broken. The internal glass is damaged from the water and it will no longer focus so I will definitely need to replace that. After the camera gets out of the rice again I will determine what I’m going to do with it. May just be time to upgrade my filming setup 😅. Really appreciate the two of you watching. ATB

On this camp I am using a trangia stove with the Trangia 27 cook set. It’s a fantastic set. Like having mini kitchen 👍

On this camp I am using a trangia stove with the Trangia 27 cook set. It’s a fantastic set. Like having mini kitchen 👍
