FYI Cyclones play a 3-3-5, Mclaughlin broke his leg, Cooper Ebel sounds like he will taking Will's place.
Yeah I knew they were a 3-3-5 but wanted to include a few players that would be regulars (just didn't know how to format that). McLaughlin would be a huge injury for that defense. I still like their depth tho

@JoeBroback it's funny that you talked about the stretch with Georgia, Missouri, and Kentucky. This is an easy schedule for us compared to most years lol. I say 7 wins is reasonable. But if Thorne gets to 2500 yards and 20+ touchdowns (which is possible but still unlikely) I think 10 wins is possible. 10 wins is a pipe dream but I hope that we surprise some people this year.
Tech is loaded on offense. That being said King has to limit turnovers. How can we compete against the FSU, ND, UGA of the world.. that depends on how the defense plays. Looking forward to see what Santucci brings as the new DC. My prediction is 7-5 based off a brutal schedule. And hopefully a bowl win sets us up nice for a breakout 2025

Pittmans biggest mistake was letting his O Line coach go to LSU after 2021. Ironically the same thing that got Bret Beilema fired was letting Pittman go to Georgia after 2014. Once the Linemen those guys recruited and developed left the O Line fell apart in both cases. O Line coaches are extremely important to a football team

@@JoeBroback I used to watch the Pat Hill Fresno State teams as they started to get more TV time in the early 2000s. Love the style of play, tough defense with fundamentals.

I think they definitely upgraded the roster but still not much depth and downgraded coaching staff. They’ll need a lot to go right to win games in a better conference in the last half of the schedule.

@@JoeBroback I think at worse they go 5-2 in the first 7 and 2-3 at worst in the last 5. Floor is 6-6 realistic ceiling 10-2 with like a 2% chance they find lighting in a bottle and go 11-1. Ohio st is the only team that will be more than a 6 point spread
