Can you imagine the pressure on the new Alabama head coach after following the goat?

Arkansas doesn't have the in-state high school talent to be a yearly contender in SEC football. Coach Pitman has done a great job considering he was thrown into the SEC West in his first head coaching job. I think Coach Petrino will be a difference maker. I just hope its enough to buy them some more time and have a chance to build a team.

If they show progress then I think they’ll give Pittman time. A repeat of last year probably sends him packing

OMG!! I thought I was the only one that realized the huge uphill battle Arkansas faces in recruiting. It amazes me that fans expect to be top half of the SEC when we will never recruit higher than 12th out of 16. Pittman has consistently got players to perform above their talent level. Thats not to say recruiting ranking is everything but most schools we face will have more 5 stars on their bench than we have on the entire team. I don't count last year because I don't believe any coach could've overcome the lack of effort from KJ last year. It is a big talking point from players from last years team. If the offense does anything last year you potential win the 3 one score games and the season would've been completely different. Defense just gave up after fighting most of the year and not getting any support. You lost a lot of your linebackers because your leader from that group didn't like the effort they put in while the top NIL athlete refused to put in the work for the team. I really don't think Enos was ever really the problem but I'm glad we moved on to Bobby Patrino. I expect the offense to be held accountable all year and this team will outperform expectations. We will be the underdogs in all but 3 maybe 4 games this year and I expect they will play above their talent and win a few we shouldn't. Going forward you have to win to fix the recruiting issues that came up this year. The fans are going to have to get behind the coach and stop the fire Sam Pittman crusade if you are ever going to get any talent. The players absolutely love Pittman and if he can win you can pull a few recruits to better equip this team to compete. But until the fans stop crying for a reset which will set the program back 2 or 3 years again. Just to bring in another coach that can't get players to win against tougher competition and will be fired in 4 or 5 years again. Every fan should hope it turns around for Pittman because coaches that haven't had to play against tougher competition every single game will not succeed at Arkansas

Player we might not miss as much as we think. Pooh Paul. He may be one of the leading tacklers last years but there were times that I saw him shy away from tackles. I don’t think the D will miss him. Also the Hogs need Cam Ball to be more than a blocker occupier.

Why no mention of Kutas at LG??? He was probably the most consistent OL plyer last year.

To me...the whole key is ...the offensive line...and special teams...if the O-line clicks...the Hawgs will move the ball...if they move the ball they will score...avoiding destructive turnovers is also key...if they move the ball the pressure on the "D" will be MUCH reduced because hopefully the other squad WON'T have ball as much...replacing Cam Little is a MUST!...not surrendering a lotta hidden yardage on kickoffs & punt returns matters a bunch...gotta at least break even on special teams...ARKANSA!..MUST ! WIN! THE! WINNABLE! GAMES!...to me...The PittBoss's biggest problem as head coach has been losing when victory is right there for the taking...games that are less than the touchdown spread MUST go the HAWG"S way....i predict 6-6 and a bowl victory...maybe 7...you can only get fired up so many times during a 12 game regular season ..and NOBOBY in this conference is gonna be excited when they must play UA..they' ll get Sam's best shot...hopeful!y Arkansas won't mostly get their's...i gotta feelin' the Cardinal & White will be good for at least two upsets in 2024...i hope so i really like Pittman...like yer channel..i subscibed...

Brett, I love the breakdown! Arkansas should be a tough team for sure. OL has the talent to be nasty for sure. If they live up to the hype, then it’s on Green to produce. Tough to win in this conference like you said, but a bowl game is there for the taking

Not gonna get excited until I see the product in the actual game field. Every year the media and fans build/hype up (me included) expectations and most of the time we are very disappointed by what we see.

That’s fair. I think it’s good to have optimism heading into the season (obviously not too much) but I get why some are skeptical after last year

Pitman needs to retire like nick did. Razorbacks will never amount to nothing with him as hc😅
