At best: 7-5 or 7-6 with the last win/loss being a bowl win/loss. At worst: either 5-7, 6-6 or another 4 win season. Full blown implosion would result in anything below 4 wins imo.

8-4. Nice d-line. Better back 7 on d'. Upgraded OL lacks depth (24 CU's Achilles' heel). '24 CU defeats NDSU & Ariz. '24 Ariz: yuge personnel- & coaching staff losses. CU '24 OL>Arizona's btw. - Old school Pac/MWC fan (not a Buffs homer - giving an outsider's perspective)

Joe 90% of the team has been together since January by the time the season starts it will be a little under nine months together that's plenty of time to build.

Like what you did.. Only major inaccuracy was with the LBs.. Nahkai Hill-Green and Johnny Chaney are the best 2 LBs in the room

This team will be must watch to begin the season. They will surprise teams again because they don’t have tape on the new starters or the scheme, it’s almost like a new team. Starting out fast shouldn’t be a problem for them, they have the athletes but they’re sus until they can prove they can grind it out in close games, which if they had last year, could’ve been bowl bound. Excellent team to bet on early and make $$$

Pray they are able to run the ball stop the run and use the talent they have appropriately. Make necessary in game adjustments and force stats but take what’s given and finish games with Wins at the end of day even if an unknown talent plays the hero. Just win games and everyone Wins

​@@JoeBroback - I will be quick, but want to add a little context. First....There are 6 sets of brothers on the team and a cousin or two. They also brought in a nucleus of kids from Eagles Landing Christian Academy in Georgia. And I can point to a few more reasons why I am not worried about chemistry with this team. Second....These kids ran to the smoke, they were sitting in their dorm rooms at Universities across the country thinking to themselves, they would like to be a part of what is happening at CU. Lastly....A lot people thought talent would be the reason they could not get to the over last year. Which was 3.5....Talent was the not the issue. Players and Coaches could not handle the spotlight last year. There were Mental Midgets in the locker in the form of players and coaches. The kids coming in this year are DAWGS and they know the assignment. I have watched a few player interviews, a luxury we have as CU fans, there are a ton of content creators so we get a lot of exposure to the team that other fans dont, but the players are talking about CU becoming the 33rd NFL team...So they know the mission and the culture is starting to coalesce around that vision. I say all that....Ceiling 9-3/10-2......Floor 7-5/8-4

My friend, number two last year didn't have developing plays so what you saw was him extending the play to try to get something out of the play. Wasn't that he was trying to be all world. He was just simply trying to get something out of the play so he extended the play. That's why he was holding the ball. He was holding the ball because he did not have the proper protection to stay in the pocket. Because of that you had to leave the pocket and extend the play and run around until he saw somebody open. If there was something open before that he would throw to that place. Stop trying to blame him like he was trying to be all world. He wasn't trying to be old world. He was just trying to get something out of the play. If there was something before that he would have took it did not have another option

Yes and no. You’re right that he didn’t have time to throw but there were also plenty of times where he tried to do too much instead of throwing it away and moving to the next play

Who is ‘most people expected’. Vegas had them winning 2.5 games, most the experts even less. So, no… they outperformed expectations

You just have to look at the whole picture. He not looking at the whole picture. He's just you putting a little bit too much on number two. And you have to realize that it's a bigger picture. It's a team. He's not by himself and he doesn't have anything to do with the choice of offensive play. Once it's offensive pass play then that's his choice. He extends the play. That means that the play didn't work out and he's trying to make something happen. But I will agree with you that he did tend to hold the ball too much and instead of throwing it away, he ran it out of bounds. A place like that were very few and far. Most of the time he extended plays. He made accurate decisions and this is why he's the number one quarterback in college football. He might try to act like he's not but he is

Would be a great idea. Switch up the looks and make the defense think more. If they have the guys to do it then why not!

Dude you're blaming stuff on him that had nothing to do with him. You need to talk to the coach about choice of place. He did not control choice of place. You need to talk to the coach about trusting in the other players so that he can design a scheme to incorporate everybody.

I think they definitely upgraded the roster but still not much depth and downgraded coaching staff. They’ll need a lot to go right to win games in a better conference in the last half of the schedule.

7-5 would not be good, 7 - 5 would be a disaster. You do realize they are playing in the Big 12, not the Pac 12. A Big 12 without Oklahoma or Texas is a huge drop off from playing against the Pac 12. This will be the easiest schedule Colorado has had in 15 years at least. I can't see the Buffs finishing worse than 9-3. The only team that has a chance at stopping CU is maybe Utah. But that's not happening either.

You still saying that he rotate. No one knows why you keep on saying that. He was in the pocket. Nothing was there so he tried to extend it. We need him to do the best he can You're talking about him extending the play from nothing being out there and he didn't see anything so he's waiting for somebody to get open. Colorado can't run 5 wide, I think if they have a RB or TE next to sheduer to pick up D lineman that slip thru the cracks it'll greatly help out the Offense. Nebraska was notorious for using simulated pressures and having a guy slip thru the crack untouched or he'd just run over tiny dylan edwards
