I’m an SC fan and I like this video, but I can see why other fanbases come at us so hard. He’s only saying the schedule is tough on us, more so than others, because we don’t the proven quality depth that some of other teams like Tenn and Mizzou. I think we have great talent in the top 22 and some depth in the 2 deep in a few positions. Other positions not so much, but I think if Beamer shows something this year, the following year, you have LaNorris year 2, the younger backs in Braswell, Howell, and Fuller will have more experience, we now have a true WRs coach with a proven track record, who will improve the room and develop better, and I love our TE room. The OL will be better as Lee, Moore, Baugh, and Babalade, played a lot of ball, and because LaNorris and Rocket will be able to complement them better. On defense, we’re starting to get even more of those athletic and twitchy DBs, Collier, Swain, Solomon, the Kilgores, our LBs are far more athletic as a whole. Dylan Stewart will be a stud for sure but I’m nervous about the rest of our D-Line after this year. We haven’t been killing it in that area lately on the recruiting trail and it’s hard to get studs on the D-Line through the portal for us. That said, programs take time to build, and we caught some of the worst luck with injuries that truly derailed us last year. This year will be tough no matter how you frame it. LSU, Ole Miss, Mizzou, and Tenn are ahead of us at the moment as a program, but I agree that all are beatable. LSU did not address their d-line issues, and if we can run the ball like we expect, there’s a shot. Ole Miss lost Judkins but Bentley and the others are not bad, especially when they are only playing complementary to the passing attack they have. Mizzou is going all in this year and are returning a lot of their production so they’ll be tough this year and maybe they fall the year after. I hope we can go 7-5, and I think the absolute ceiling is 9-3. Realistically, I think we’re a 6-6 or 7-5 team. 5-7 again would put Beamer on the hot seat in my opinion.

I have heard that Bryan Thomas Jr has taken that next step. We could see Stewart and Thomas starting at EDGE. We haven’t had depth like this on defense in years.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Stewart starts early. But it’s probably Edmund and Kennard starting game 1 but I like the rotation of Stewart, Dez, and Thomas. Much deeper room this year

@@JoeBrobackmy prediction is 6-6 with wins over Old Dominion, LSU, Akron, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, and Wofford. Kentucky will win because it will be Lanorris sellers first away start in a hostile environment, Ole Miss, Alabama, and Clemsons d line will overwhelm South Carolina. I don’t see them winning in Norman and I think Missouri will be really good with the return of Brady Cook and Luther Burden.

Sellers is a stud. Insider info claims he’s viewed as the best athlete on the team. Play action with Harbor and Brown could be explosive with polished route running.

Can’t forget about Rocket’s catching ability also… We recruited him as a Wide Receiver outta High School and Arkansas got him 🙄🤷‍♂️😊 and Convinced/Converted him to play Running Back… Should be a Great Option for a Super Talented Young Quarterback like Sellers to get rid of the Rock in a Hurry!!! Run the Rock/Rocket Pass when Needed-Sellers Play Defense-Talented and Experienced D Across the Board Win the Game 😊 Spurs Up☝️ Go Gamecocks!!! 🏈🏆✅

8:36 there is a reason we called Spencer “Gun Slingga” it wasn’t because he ran. When he ran it was dangerous but his arm is a gem if he had more mix of better receivers last year.

If I heard correctly, Harbor should be down to around 225-230 this season, which is what he was at running track. Said he felt better than ever and saw his times improve drastically with the weight down. Obviously priority for him now is release/burst acceleration and route refinement. Should be fun to watch That being said, I agree with a realistic ceiling of 7-5, but I think 8-4 is the perfect ceiling. Absolutely everything goes right I think we can make 8. Starting the season 4-0, probably losing to Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Bama, and Mizzou. Say TAMU doesn't live up to the hype again, and rivalry stuff happens and Clemson loses

So, 7-5 as a floor should be the expectation of Shane & Staff? Obviously, you feel we are loaded up. Surely winning 7, with 4 of them GIMMES, should not be a bridge too far. We can not sink money into another unqualified HC on a whim and a prayer. We did that w Champ...Cost us a fortune to dump him...Then we had to settle for another unproven/unqualified HC.

Half of a halfback, literally he was short😂😂😂 but he did his thing. 1 QB?… yea it was a TRASH season we had no talent. Now this season has shown nothing but super starts this past winter and into this summer camp. Revamped and hopefully ready. Bowl game eligible is all we care about.
