My parents owned one, new in 79, metallic copper. Super comfortable car, handled like an ocean liner. Pilot license recommended. Lol.

Great car in the day. My mother owned a new 79 in metallic dark blue, matching landau top. Sharp car. Drove well until you wanted to get sporty in the corners. Lots of fun in that car. Memories.

Well car instruments are sometimes called clocks, but to have an actual clock taking front and center on the dash?! I owned a 1969 Camaro for about a month, a Colorado car, rust free, I was going to pull the inline six out of it and go the crate motor route, saner heads (at the time) prevailed. But a truly rust free '69, even in the '90s, should've been a good thing.

Doesn't it have the same engine as the Spirit R/T ? Have you solved the cam "overrunning" issue ? It's a known weakness with those .

Check out the floor in that building oh my God, some company sold him quite a flooring job. That was a really good lick for that company. And whoever he gets to keep it clean oh my God it pays their mortgage just to come clean that floor. That's a cool car I just bought a 504 diesel because you can mix up Diesel with gasoline and used motor oil and drive on it for a buck a gallon. So after the election when they Jack fuel prices up I'll be clocking along laughing going who would pay $4.14 a gallon.

If you're so in love with freezing weather, you should trade places with me! You can come up to new hampshire and be homeless because nobody can affrord to live in Trashua because it's a communist democrat city in a flip flopping Red state, and the weather sucks so bad that even Mark Twain commented on it during a trip he took to Mt. Washington, -"If you don't like the weather in New England,.. wait a minute. It'll change!"

I have a gold and brown '82 Berlinetta that is a little different from the '84. The gas filler cap is on the left rear fender instead of under the license plate. The steering wheel is different and instrument panel is all analog and simpler. There is no Berlinetta badge on the left rear bumper. I don't think the '82 had an 8-cylinder option. The target market for the Berlinetta was women and the girls still love the styling; I get lots of compliments from strangers and all the girls want to ride in my car. The practical feature the ladies love most is the heater -- No one is going to ever feel a chill in the '82! But the model is very hard to work on for routine maintenance -- The spare tire is one of those stupid minis and the bumper jack assembly is a jigsaw puzzle. Best just to call AAA! The entire rear light assembly must be removed to change a burned-out light bulb. It's almost impossible to get a floor jack under the car. Very few shops can properly overhaul the Rochester carburetor (a place in New Jersey knows how). Replacements for the complex combination turn indicator/windshield wiper & washer/cruise control stick are no longer available and the approved substitute part doesn't work the cruise control. Still, I love my Berlinetta and will never sell her.

This was the best Cordoba. It was the smoothest riding car I'd ever rode in, to date. I was so sad when my father had to return it, as it was a rental. I tried to convince my dad to buy it, but he said he couldn't.☹

The 1977-'79 set of XR-7's are my most favorite of all. Although admittedly based on new-for-'77 Ford LTD II, the XR-7 (to me) was far more attractive than the T-Bird of those years. Very clean lines with strong Lincoln cues including the rear 'hump' and the sexy grill up front. In some ways it was a smaller version of the gorgeous Mark V. It's even more beautiful today, 45 years later.

The wood looks out of place somehow - it's not a 1960s MG - I think you could get the silver metal effect dash which would look better

I think he’s just busy. A lot of the cars to review need to be fixed up before they can really be shown-off and driven on the roads. He’s working on a Nash Metropolitan, a forgotten little grand-touring roadster to compete with the Corvette and Thunderbird.

I owned a 70 GP with the 400 engine and Turbo 400 auto in the early 80's. Grear car comfortable, good ride and handling, and the 400 had plenty of power, beautiful sound. Mine had power windows and AC.

I just bought myself a BEAUTIFUL ‘77 Black & Gold Trans-Am. It only has 76,000 miles on her,and the paint is IMMACULATE! I’ve only wanted one for the last four decades…it was TOTALLY worth the wait. Heck…sometimes on crappy weather days I go out to the garage just to LOOK at it. GREAT VIDEO! 🤠

I have one just like it except with the original paint. Mechanically it's been restored. Flathead with the Borg-warner transmission. It's a great little car. Rambler is the perfect name for it.

I have a ‘95 XLT almost identical. SWB, 5 speed, 4x4, 302 V8, 95,000 miles. I get a lot of compliments when driving it, it still cleans up very well. One guy in a Hampton Inn parking lot in Yuma AZ recently offered me $20k cash for it. I will never sell it. Bought it slightly used in 1995 with 9000 miles on it. It has been and will continue to be a great truck.

This Ford is a Holman Moody 428 FE Cobra Jet V8, the intake manifold and duel 4V carbs and dual snorkel air cleaner was only used on these Holman Moody modified Fords. These were used mostly for drag racing.

I can explain why your AC is so good and it IS luck! Back in the day when R12 was the refrigerant of choice, it used to work way better than the stuff we have today. My dad used to have an old Mustang with 40k original miles on her and she still had her original AC coolant! It was so cold that it froze the vents, no exaggeration. Some people say they could get snow to come out under certain circumstances. Just think, in order to have that the system had to have no leaks whatsoever up until now. Over time eventually they will all be gone. To have the original coolant is super rare and makes a car MUCH more valuable/desirable!

My uncle had New Yorkers every car he would buy every 4 years , so big but really nice cars . I was just a small kid at the time but I remember everything ! Hell I remember my mom and big sister picking me up out of the crib and I even remember the first house I lived in and exactly where it was because I remember driving in the car to the store and it was before kids had to be in a car seat and all that stuff . I have a memory that is I guess you could say is photographic or I’ve been told that , it’s kinda strange to think people don’t have that ability ? Anyway these cars just kinda float down the road .
