Welcome to my channel Dr Restoration.
I have a great passion to work with my hands, and enjoy bringing new life into old broken down projects. I am learning as I go and would one day like to have a shop where I use all my restorations to make new restorations.

The only thing I would have changed, is that I would have replaced 1 of the wheels to a wire wheel. Other then that, it looks great!
I actually did that
Looks almost like an AT-ST from Star Wars
No doubt that you are a skilled restorer ! You did a great job on this helmet ! Also no doubt that for collection purist, your job will make them have an heart attack !
😂
👍👍👍

Nah Im a yeti
This is how chocolate drink was invented

Restore youre hammer, your hammer its kinda rusted make it shine again, and you've been doin a good job tho
I wanna change my name to peanut butter brittle nose
Awesome restoration. Very happy to see the welding of damage instead of bondo. I'm pretty sure Wilton did not have a stocking order for Bondo back then.... Good to see a total lack of short cuts!!
What is that gas produced?
Hydrogen at the negative electrode and Oxygen at the positive electrode, don’t light and matches 😊
@@DrRestoration huh... i did this experiment but with copper acetate solution and gasses formed at the cathode (negative) but not at the anode... what could it be? (The electrolyte was made with the classic 1:1 vinegar - H-peroxide combination then the copper and finally a bit of table salt for conductivity)
Maaaan...things just aren't built how they used to be
Really tweezers?
Why get rid of rare things when you can just as easily remake an ax?
Мужик,ты такой молодец,рукодельный,а тиски такие ржавые-почисти.

Hello everyone frome Possja
what liquid did you used scrub the inside grinder with after electrolysis ?
Сподіваюся до льду долили віскі?
Great job! It was great seeing one of the Pakistani knives from my childhood turned into a beautiful artistic piece of Pakistani steel.
Do not ever again take pre ww2, ww2 or post ww2 helmets that have original paint and/or other original like liner and destroy it. There might be many helmets but its history and none should be destroyed. You should ve ashamed and learn, dont just do this again, please.
You just destroyed M40/55 Finnish helmet. Thats sad as fuck...
Very nice attention to detail on both the axe and the sheath. Also, awesome videography. Thanks for sharing.👏👏👏👏
Stunning. The shape may have changed but that as you have called her Old Girl is once again ready to be used to undertake many an excellent job. Thanks for sharing this with us. Awesome
Poor vise. Look how he overheated that tap 😂
Сделано как то неряшливо. Спуск не доведён и поверхность самого топорища не доведена до конца. Из достоинств только рукоять. А тыкву я и куском рельса разрубить могу.
This is beautiful I like it
Dr. Restoration, water quenching is not used because it can cause brittleness. Why do you not use oil?
THOR is the coolest GOD. And what a unique knife with the design. I am sure you do a great resteration. I better watch the rest of your video. And Hope you have a fantastic Easter. And if you do not celebrate. You can at least LOVE some chocolate on Sunday
Happy Easter!
Awesome restoration
Thank you!

I have a bone handle one of these, was given it in 1974 by a friend of my farther,my blade is finished in chrome still working well but the blade matiral is not that amazing but you can get a razor edge on it but it never lasts long , great work thank you
Beautiful work of art - as you changed the scales it's a restomod now. Sadly you didn't make a true double stitch on that sheath, would have made it look more even and nicer, and no grooving of the stitching line, which would make the thread sink beyond the leather surface and protect it against abrasion - overall, the sheath doesn't match the knife in make and finish. These knives were made to finish off wounded deer or other larger animals, the folding design to save space and make it less unwieldy - stabbing into the heart requires not much force, so the weak pivot gives no issues, but the massive blade was never ment for hard work like slashing or chopping, be careful.
I actually wasn't gona coment on your post. But nice work and more importantly. Tnks for the grit chart. I have never seen anyone else do this. But to be fair. Most people that watch a resteration are already knowlegeable about all that and more.
Nice, i have my grandpa's hueing ax. It's 13 in from tip to tip. I've kept it oiled but having trouble finding a new handle mine is offset but cracked. Thank you for your hard work.
Beyond just 'Great'...Awesome! Would love to be able to send you an old toolbox to restore for my dads 89th birthday if you'd be so kind as to accepting the job. Charge what you may, I trust in you fully. Please reach out. Please. Thanks sincerely.
Great, keep it up my friend I will follow your development on your channel❤
Thank you :)
Great job as always. FYI my grandfather showed me how to see how sharp your knife is. You slant your thumb at an angle and put the knife blade on the nail. If the knife slips, it's dull, but if your knife sticks it's sharp. I'm an old man now but I never forgot.
The colour you chose is perfect for that era. Great job....
Hey, from Canada. Never heard of purplr heart wood but have to say its very beautiful. Will try to find some at the shops here. Great video. Fantastic job.
You ever heard of purple fart
Hi I'm 13 and I've been finding inspiration of watching these kind of videos and I have found a knife and I restored it I am just wondering for beginner what should I start on
WOW! When you started with it I was wondering why you would have gotten it in such a shape but after you were complete I was amazed. Very Nice indeed. I am impressed. Thank you. Watching this has given me a creative mind for a few projects.
Thank you!

Fai attenzione, quie distanziatori non sono di cartone ma sono fatti di amianto
I really don't get the whole tweezer thing. You have fingers. You're wearing gloves. Just pick the damn things up. They're not toxic or poisonous. It's just mind numbingly pointless. Not subscribing.
I did stop using tweezers a while ago 😂
Wow
