One review of Andreas Katsulas described him as "merely" being G'Kar impersonating a human.... So much of a similar nature could be said of Mira in her role as Delenn. She wasn't an actor wearing prosthetics or make-up, she was THE character 'slumming it" with the rest of us while the director was otherwise engaged.

UGH. Making me get all tearful n' stuff, here. Delenn was my favorite character in a show full of great characters both male and female because of her depth, her strength, her beauty and poise, her admitting she didn't have all the answers, her passion and fury, her love and kindness. I agree that nobody else could play her other than Mira, and now that Mira is gone (among others)? There can never be another "Babylon 5". Don't even try, Hollyweird. It would be nowhere near the same.

I was 11 when this show first aired.. I think it toke two years to reached Denmark at which point I was 13, and I fell in love with the show in a way I have no other. I still to this day almost yearly rewatch it.. And it breaks my heart when I think about all these great people that have and gone beyond the Rim were no shadow falls. It was a show that while the graphical side haven't aged well the story and the crew still can catch our hearts and our minds. Thank you Mira Furlan for being our Dylen and now rest well.

'Why would you choose to make today a bad day'. Well, billions upon billions of humans have never had the choice have they? Have any of us? It's a crap cliche, very few days are 'good', most days are dull, plenty are bad. On balance, in the current state of affairs, especially after billions have been poisoned by mRna pharma bio-weapons, and suffered subsequent injuries or death, or seen their loved ones suffer or die, it's nearly all bad days. But it is the end times, they are forecast to be terrible.

That was a well constructed video. Mira may have had great lines, but her delivery and her humanity was were necessary to enliven and elevate the material beyond the mundane. I recall, in college, watching B5 every week when it first aired. My whole apartment (school mates and friends) would sit together to watch. The characters, the writing, the casting, and the great actors together produced the art that was Bablyon 5. I wish there had been a good way to recreate the old films to newer resolutions (as Star Trek has done) because even now, with the world in turmoil, the messages B5 carried are still worth hearing.

Beautiful tribute. In a lot of ways, especially because of the autobiographical similarities that JMS incorporated into Delenn's character, that was Mira's best role and I am glad she found a new home in Babylon 5 after the deplorable treatment she had gotten in Croatia.

Because of work, I only got to see a few episodes, but I did get to see the very last episode. So glad I did. I would not have had the desire to watch B5 in its entirety. Recently got a hold of season 1. Now I've purchased 2--5. I love this show. Loved Mira. Sad that she passed away, but it looks like she lived a good life.

Leonard Nimoy / Mr. Spock, Patrick Stewart / Capt. Picard, Mira Furlan / Ambassador Delenn... Certainly forever they will be among the most remarkable of Sci-Fi ...

Mira Furlan was, after Sophie Marceau my first secret love interest, I saw both in her movies "the Beauty of Vice" (Lepota Poroka) and "La Boum" - Part 1 and 2 in the late 1980's as teenager, then again with "Babylon 5", "Braveheart" and so on, when I think now at the reason for Mira's death, a simple virus, so early, so senseless, it hurt deep

The creators of Babylon 5 created characters that only the actors that played could bring them to life… the embodiment of them is how we wish we were and maybe try to become… a better person then we are now. We miss them all. God speed… I will see you beyond the rim
