There is something very fascinating about her. Despite the fact she and Hannah are both portrayed by the same actress, Beth seemed more pretty. Her attitude was so caring and overall she looked like a very unproblematic, conscientious girl, comparing to jess/emily/ashley. if only we had a chance to play her as other characters, i bet everyone would love her more than the others.

I guess all the other girls are more problematic because they have more screentime. I can assume that if Ashley had like 5 mins of screentime like Beth, she would be "unproblematic" too (also because they are very similar in their personalities, but Ashley is not that brave).

Intresting thing about the chapter 10 immunity, while Chris has it, Emily and Ashley can also get it. If Chris is dead, the immunity defaults to whoever was first out of the basement (Ashley if you lied about the truth or if Emily was never bitten. Or Emily gets it if Ashely tells the truth and she pushes Ashley out of the way). They end up in the same position Chris should have been in, and is able to bale before being able to blow the lodge up. This also applies if 2 of the 3 are dead. Whoever is left is automatically safe and runs out before there’s a chance to die. Alternatively there’s an interesting scene with Chris Emily and Ashley where if Sam and Mike die in the lodge ASAP, the three of them run out together at the same time with no chance of them dying.

Its odd to think, but i do think that novelty is a soft factor to consider when looking at game series. The Resident Evil fandom has some rather harsh divisions between generations of games, but what I find interesting is that theres some people who think that RE2 jumped the shark in comparison to RE1. Especially playing it alone, RE1 does have a sort of “haunted funhouse” vibe to it that most of the series lacks.

Thanks fo sharing, this is really interesting. It almost feels like an opening cinematic after the first chapter. Although it would give away way too much, ending dialogue is very cool and feels like a hyper.

32:32 for Emily not to get bit by the wendigo you need to get every qte right and have the flare gun, or atleast that’s how I did it edit: I did both jump over and get off options and was able to not get bit both times

I don’t really agree when you say that the totem where Emily gives the flare gun to Matt is useful, as you said basically no one disagrees with Emily on the plan which makes giving the flare gun to Matt useless… I would rather have Emily keep it so she can defend herself later on and Matt jumping to safety so he doesn’t get killed.

Okay I've got something thats been bugging me and I don't know how its triggered, when Matt and Emily fin Ashley and Chris after Josh's "death", usually they say the line about Jess and Mike off so where 69ing each other and all that, but I watched a playthrough and they got a different line where Chris accuses Emily and Matt of just wanting to save themselves. I have no idea why the scene was different.

I know which scene you're talking about but I also don't know how exactly to get it. I think I've only gotten it once myself, and I want to say it probably depends on Matt and Emily's relationship being really good, just based on that it's rare for someone to have a really high relationship for them on a playthrough and so it would explain it being really rare (and there isn't much time to affect anything else with Emily anyway; you can't vary her relationship with Chris by that point I don't think.) Logically this would also make sense in that Emily might be feeling less insecure about Mike and Jess if she's happy with how things are going with Matt, but this is all still just a guess. I do love that alternate version of the scene though because it shows a different side of Emily; you'd expect her to be mad at an accusation like that, but she's calm and understanding instead, which is really neat.

Ik I’m late to this but can I say YES I completely agree with you about Taylor like everyone was down her neck from the start and she handled it so well and she was right almost everytime about everything. Finally I think even if you do make her a bitch she doesn’t act annoying like Emily but more witty and funny which I love. For example if nobody goes back to the bus with her as she walks away she will make fun of John for trying to be a leader but just being controlling or if Angela disagrees with her about going to the school instead of the town she cuts her off and says “ nobody asked you granny “ . Overall I think she’s great and one of my fav supermassive game characters as she’s witty in the best way and so funny

Hey, I think I remember you. You recorded so many possibilities for Until Dawn, correct? I've been watching them in the past. And now you're making it possible to mod Heavy Rain after Detroit: Become Human became moddable few years ago. This is great. This will definitely open up to mess with the game's story (since swaps aren't as perfect as in Detroit: Become Human, it most likely will end up as a way of making the gameplay cursed unless you swap the models right). As a test I changed the Origami Killer's Appearance in The Old Warehouse with his "Fish Tank"-Appearance (We all know, who it is but I won't spoil in case anyone doesn't ;) ). Let's just say it looked pretty scary seeing someone being chased by the masked killer at the warehouse. Imagine they hadn't found out, who he really is and then ended up there regardless. What I also noticed is that he does have facial physics in that appearance. They just seem to have been disabled for "Fish Tank". I wonder why that was done. Possibly to hide the small clipping of the mouth through the cover. This is definitely something you can play around with. Thanks for making this possible. which will have to be improved to ensure compatibility across game versions. Detroit: Become Human had such an issue, when it was moddable because there were unclear version differences however Heavy Rain doesn't seem to have this particular problem.

Todd is probably my least favorite character in the entire game. He is very triggering. He doesn’t care about anyone but himself. He has no remorse for any of his actions. He doesn’t care about Alice. He also was so angry that he is willing to kill her in a fit of rage in the various bad endings of Stormy Night. Todd sucks and I will always say that he was better off dying to Kara in that chapter.
