Woodshop Diaries is a DIY blog with building plans and tutorials ranging from large furniture builds to small decor items. As a former engineer, now turned full time DIYer/content creator, I tend to be a bit technical, but I enjoy sarcasm and try to throw in some humor along the way.
Check out my tutorial videos here and then head over to www.woodshopdiaries.com for all the building plans and more detailed instructions.

Very helpful series thank you!
I love your channel and what you do! I subscribed to your channel! I don't speak English well, but I still understand everything!
Thank you for the inspiration ❤
Why do people hate pocket holes lmao 😅
Very enjoyable content, glad I happened across your channel. Great looking build, definitely want to undertake this one. Very cool pup, I have a black Labrabull.

I ❤ your channel señorita ! You’re so talented. Congrats 🎉
Great build as usual, one question I love the color which Sherwin Williams brand was it??
You’re a hard worker. Much respect.
You got a new subscriber, great work and great videos.
What brand of sander do you use?
Am i blind. I dont see the link for the cushins.
Hi! It’s In the video description under “materials” I’ve included it again here: amzn.to/3MWRoI8
Your channel is my only source of inspiration because it's so beautiful, well explained and affordable. Thank you for your excellent work! ❤️
Love that nail gun! One of the few power tools I own, hardly ever need it but love it.
It’s always a pleasure to see that you have a new video project. You’re an amazing builder. Thank you for sharing your skills.
I'm so building something like this, will need to improvise as I don't have all the tools. Great video, Thanks!
How much did this cost you??
What is the size of this garden (L x W)?
I have searched up and down KZread for a sofa and a coffee table to build, this is the one. I will be building these to use for Fourth of July. This entire outdoor set, including the recent chaise, feels like a truly inspired design, congratulations! I'll be buying the plans also.
What a fabulous job you've done, l need to replace a drab wall hung basin in my new house and this wii be my go to video for the project
You mean you didn't make chess pieces and a Backgammon board? ;-) Nice build!
Another fine video...great job Shara!
What router bit did you use for the tongues?
🔥
First time coming across your channel and I have to say this series feels classroom complete which is a very good thing. A lot of of “build this” (not Brad he’s great) type videos tend to be like the draw bird meme. Step 1, draw outline. Step 2, draw the rest of the effing bird. Your tutorial is so thorough and packed with details I legit had to take notes on a paper and rewatch certain parts more than a few times. I just built my first cabinet for the garage as practice and I’d watched enough videos on how to do so. It came out alright and I will admit I kinda winged it on come parts because I’m a kinesthetic learner. I have to do things to really learn, even if it’s just to learn the mistakes and the reason not to do things. With that under my belt this series provided crystal clear details on everything I need to do next time. It feels like I actually showed up to class instead of reading a classmate’s notes and showing up for the test. Long winded way of saying, amazing work!
Shara, what can I say about this... I am always amazed by your projects. Nicely done. You're making it look so easy, but it isn't. Every now and then I get jealous when I see you doing this. I'm already looking forward to your next work of art and I would say "happy building"!
Wow I love it so beautiful what was the width of the vanity ?
Next video suggestion: make a lift top coffee table 😊
I’ll keep that in mind for a future project. In the mean time, I have this: How to Build a Puzzle Table with Built In Board Games kzread.info/dash/bejne/lpt1z9GEp7bAoaQ.html
That look fantastic, rugged also. Outstanding job
Awesome!!👍🏾💯
This is the best in depth video I have seen about this topic ! Straight to the point , explain the important details us newbies need to know , while keeping it interesting! Thank you 🙏 😊 I’m a veteran who is thinking about leaving my electrical trade to do something like crafting things made of wood .
Great build
This is so so timely! I have so much leftover cedar and I want to build a sectional AND I want to build a Woodshop Diaries project. It's win win win!
Great job! I like the cabinet!
do you have plans for the barn door ?
Hi! Yes the how to is found here: www.woodshopdiaries.com/build-a-geometric-wood-slat-sliding-door/
Brilliant
Your videos are the best! I've already built the twin bed with storage under and now im onto cabinets. Is there a time and place for building on large face frame for cabinets that are going in a row vs three individual face frames?
Great idea and execution, hope all is well
Let’s talk about the tools. I need to start buying those first.
Hi! Here’s my list of tools I recommend for cabinet building: www.woodshopdiaries.com/must-have-tools-for-cabinet-furniture-making/
I like how the cat is taking a bath on the cushion!
That looks great. A little classier than some of the other similar designs I have seen. Is Honey Teak the color you used? That timber oil seems to be the best choice for outdoor furniture that is available here in TN. But I have to buy a full gallon and am unsure what color I want for cedar and pine. Thanks, and keep up the good work. I generally like the style of all your projects.
Very nice. Love seeing your workshop buddies. Cute. Great build and share. Thank you.
Thank you so much! Lucy and Bubs are great company in the workshop. I'm happy they hang out with me so much. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your weekend and I appreciate you watching!
@@WoodshopDiaries Thank you. I hope you have a lovely Sunday too.
Awesome work you are very good at this! 😍😎
Where can I buy that guide
Hi! Here’s the link: amzn.to/3J59TIT
Great job, looks great. I hate angles :(
I understand--angles can be tricky. But the angles parts of this set are what makes it unique, I think. Luckily these are simple angles--nothing too crazy.
@@WoodshopDiaries Yeah it looks great!
I've watched a lot of cabinet building videos, and I have to say your series is some of the best. Very informative and more understandable details. Thanks
Very nice 👍🏻
Thank you so much!
Can these "outdoor" sectionals work well for indoor use?... would they be comfortable enough?
I suppose you can use them inside if you wanted. Me and the dog sit on the loveseat version of this design (I built last year) on the porch literally every single day. We find it comfortable.
@@WoodshopDiaries Thank you.
would you ever make these for clients?
I don't like building the same thing twice, so I don't usually take on commission projects, especially for things I've already made.
