Thanks for the video, I just installed this same mount. Im not sure I would buy this mount again, too many clips broken/missing from my install. Fit was too tight, they should make the bracket a little longer. Will drive a few times and see.

Just got a 2021 Ranger and plan to put on lights. Could you please clarify, I'm a little confused by the L and V style stuff.. Do you know what style the factory switches are? I might just do those to avoid adapters and a like look with the other switches. I saw the factory switches somewhere online and remember they were spendy. Thx great vid and helped me a bunch!

You want to get L Style switches to match the factory polaris switches. You can get custom lighted switches from OTR Switch Guys. If you want a simple 2pin rocker switch you can get Carling Technologies switches on Amazon. So the 80 is thicker than the 40. Did it hold up? It seems most people have the best luck with black ABS, or just using a steel pipe. Still working for you?

Every time I see this mod done I know it's a newbie snowplower. You will get tired of fixing that. Plus it doesn't clean the snow up very well. Once the ground freezes I don't even run the shoes anymore.

This is not going to last long. You should be using schedule 80 PVC. Also, I used a workmate bench and a 10' length of 2x6 as a fence to cut a perfectly straight line. Your freestyle method will result in a wobbly cut. Good luck!

It did ok until really worked it and it broke. I replaced it with Sch80 and that broke on one of the corners. I will be uploading a video shortly showing how I fixed it.

I work at Lowe's and a customer told me about this "hack". He was looking for a piece of 2" ABS and when we didn't have any in stock I suggested PVC. He stated that his research indicated that the PVC will break in the cold. The ABS apparently won't and holds up well with the use and cold. Look fir a the black ABS at your local home center or plumbing supply. Good luck and thanx for the content.

Just bought a used 2018 Polaris Ranger XP 1000 Northstar . My turn signal kit works great. But the only issues I have is the signal on the dashboard only works when the key is on not after you start the vehicle. Getting power out of the 7 and 8 pin on and running but when running nothing shows up on the dashboard. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

That's odd. When the pins on the kit are removed from the cluster and the machine is running you get the power pulse on each pin when the signal are on? Do you have the hazard button too?

I just did mine yesterday and I used the OE controller. One thing I noticed on most videos was them removing the under dash pad panel and knee brace to have access to the trailer connector. You do not need to remove that because once you remove that coin tray the brake controller is connector is connected to it. It took me about 10 minutes to install the brake controller. I then used the Forscan tool to reprogram the module.

The only problem I have with mine is the jack stabs is too close to the ball. My tailgate hits the stand. I move it back approximately 6inches, know have no problem hiting my tailgate

I bought the amazon one. Having issues i only turned on the first 2 on forscan and left the trailer brake controll module disable at the bottom. The brakes with work if i pull the tester but they do not apply with my breaks and it still says trailer disconnected

Initially I got blank results. I figured I had to switch the CAN button back to HS and then hit the run button at the bottom of the screen which then displayed the results.

Why do you need to activate the TBC with forscan? Wouldn't the truck see it once it's plugged in? It did on my father's 2012 f150.

The control module has to be told it's installed. It's not like a computer that may recognize new hardware added. Extra step but forscan makes it easy. There is also a lot of free things you can activate. My favorite was adding the auto folding mirrors when locking and unlocking the truck. Aka Lincoln Mirrors. Note that my truck has power folding mirrors.
