I installed this kit a few years ago and that is exactly where I put the module box. Seems like the only place that all wires will reach.

Just installed my kit yesterday. First off I absolutely do not like the overall look of the sequential turn signals or the way they mount. Looks like something you’d get from Wal Mart, not something that was part of a $500+ kit and they were very stingy on the length of some of the wires. It would also help to know if the instructions told where 6 and 7 go in the pin connector. It does matter if you like for your dash blinkers to match the correct position of the lever. The black and red wire should go in #6. The rest of the kit wasn’t too bad and looked okay. Taking the dash out is definitely only a preference. I didn’t take mine out and it wasn’t that bad really. Great video though.

What shifter handle do you have?

Hello, I bought same WD kit as you for my 2023 and I see that you have the OEM lights that have turn signal built in. Have you since wired straight into the oem headlight?

ouch. It might have been easier to splice in wires to extend the connections to the switch and leave the control box where you had it.

Just bought a used 2018 Polaris Ranger XP 1000 Northstar . My turn signal kit works great. But the only issues I have is the signal on the dashboard only works when the key is on not after you start the vehicle. Getting power out of the 7 and 8 pin on and running but when running nothing shows up on the dashboard. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

That's odd. When the pins on the kit are removed from the cluster and the machine is running you get the power pulse on each pin when the signal are on? Do you have the hazard button too?

Have you had any issues with front turn signal lights on the front coming loose at all?

No issues for me yet. They are in there pretty snug.

So yours worked out the first time what wire and color did you put in what pin hole thanks

Thinking back they should only fit one way due to engagement with the locking tab on the connector and one side of the terminal.

how are you getting it street legal? montana?

I'm in NY so I have no hope. WD calls it their street legal kit I assume for states that let you drive on the roads.

Look up dirt legal, they will get u street legal in any state we have done it in Illinois and Indiana and u get all the paperwork to prove how it is legal when u get pulled over
