I make analysis and compilation videos for figure skating. This sport is a mess and I truly hate it, but I'm certain Eteri cursed me to follow this sport forever.
Several of these also had terrible edges. Interesting...

It's unfortunate she had to part ways with Orser, she worked so well under him and you could see obvious improvements. Her crossovers are more powerful, and yes she was still muscling most jumps, but she used more toe pick on her toe jumps, her landings are more smooth and she travels more distance especially in her axel. I think Zhenya would've been a fantastic skater if she didn't train with Eteri since she was little, her lutz technique is so messed up that there wasn't enough time with Orser to fix it
@natpz27037 ай бұрын
Eteri's girls are the most overrated girls, specifically in jumps. The choreo and the spins are truly impressive. Always. But the scoring is not fair. Trusova didn't begin with Eteri team whether not Plushenko. That's why she performs better than Anna in jumps. Eteri wouldn't allowed that her junior student (Anna) lose against Trusova Trusova is the only girl who performs a quad using her pick, a moderate edge and .50 of prerotation

It’s ridiculous. Anyone can see that scherbakova and valieva so called quad jumps are barely triples. Neither even land a triple axel yet do these so called quad jumps which are not even quads, they are triples. It’s so disgusting to see it slow motion just how much they are cheating and the judges are forced to turn a blind eye.

Kamila has done many 3As. And to add to that, she's the most beautiful skater in the world because she looks like a prima ballerina, rhythmic gymnast, and modern dancer in one. So many skaters pre rotate and that is taught by a coach. Other than that, she is the most talented figure skater ever

No wonder Yuzuru is so nice to his rivals! Despite Nathan being his greatest rival, he is still friendly with him because he knows Nathan didn’t give him low scores. (Even though he would still love his opponents if they were overscored) His rival is the judges, not Nathan, because if he got the GOE and the PCS he deserves, you know Nathan wouldn’t hold a candle to him. Don’t get me wrong, Nathan has great jumping technique as well, but he doesn’t have creative entries or exits and not very artistic transitions like Yuzuru does, so Nathan would probably get +3 GOE for good takeoff and exit, height and ice coverage and body position, which would give him +3.
Doesn't matter. Kamila is gorgeous to watch. A prima ballerina rhythmic gymnast and modern dancer all-in-one

He was actually taking off using toepick, at 32/33 second mark. Even the ISU demo was an toepick-take off. It all depends on which specific part of the take off one looks at. The final moment is a toepick take off, before that it's the edge. All these obsession with picking on others using an example doing exactly the same.
