I dont think the bracelet is tegimented, just the case and bezel?
My father was given a Heuer in 1966 which I now have. It does not have ‘Carrera’ on the dial, the silver coloured dial is not ‘dished’ upwards at the edge, has two sub dials with the right hand dial starting at 45 and has seconds marks between hour batons and ‘T Swiss’ at the 6 o’clock position. I cannot find even an image of it anywhere but it appears to be very similar to some Carrera models. Between the lugs at the bottom is ‘91203’. I want to know what it is and its value.
What is your wrist in mm?
The person who bought the prototype was Joe the plumber.
watched this video to see a little more on the models, i’ve been contemplating the DWE-5657 as i appreciate the swappable bezel option. i think the text on the strap is perfectly fine, but honestly the gold keeper ruins it for me-potentially to the point of keeping me from purchasing. a pity as i quite like it otherwise. something to sleep on, i fathom.
13.2mm thickness?
Women, to this day, think about this video when they have no interest in having an orgasm.
As they say, "Cheap Way is Always the Best Way, Baby"!
It’s just too big
I love the recent wave of microbrands that come up and challenge the big names of the industry. The variety of options with (mostly) reasonable price tags is the way to go in my opinion
I saw the green edition they did of the MR01 on Instagram and looks totally stunning and with the Eastern Arabic numbers. I think it was a Perpétuel Edition limited, but that would be the one for me or maybe the Collected Man blue.
I love the look of this watch. I have a 6-1/2” wrist - will this watch be too big for me?
its my personal opinion only based on the video, studio underdog's water-melon looks more juicy than the chinese knockoffs...when you put it side by side its obvious. i mean the dial of the former just pops. there is no contest, the underdog is the winner this round.
Nice looking
will these work with a moonswatch?????
Thank you!
Wonderful video. Subscribed !
Soooo beautiful ❤
Very clear , thanks.
I believe the dial is cut on a rose engine and then enamel applied
The number one reason the AT is better: it doesn’t have an ugly cyclops on the crystal. 😅
Watch geko deserves a better host ,uninspiring and dull
Sinn watches are very special.
Case shape wears far too big at 41, they should do it with the day complication at 38 or 36
Haha careful talking about 'agender watches' you'll have right wing lunatics calling you woke lol
Excellent review. Microbrands show more imagination and very often better quality control than some of the major players. I didnt realize Ball was a microbrand. Are these shows open to ordinary public enthusiasts?
As soon as a micro brand becomes popular it nolonger is a microbrand... As, like normal brands used to be micro when they first came out...
0 seconds ago As a former Royal Marine that always wore a Rolex Submariner I bought the M100 when it was first released . Had it serviced recently by my German watch guy in the City . He was very impressed of the high quality parts of this watch and wanted to know more about it . Wear it everyday…. Purity of purpose
Ugly shite. Set to tank - no way an investment. Worse value retention than Jacob & Co.
Sorry but the best entry level watches are made by Invicta. I am talking value (and looks) for money. I know, I know, everybody hates Invicta because they make those absolutely dreadful mostruous watches that look like you could use them to defend against a missile. Even more than that, people hate them for their pro-diver range, which contains nothing more than cheap (as in not expensive) copies of Rolex Submariners and Omegas. And, to top it all off, critics of the brand even look down upon owners of Invictas: "watches for losers", "owned by people who can't afford more expensive watches". Well, I was kind of skeptical myself about Invicta, up untill 3 months ago, when I got my first Invicta, a 1953 model, the one inspired by the original Submariner, without a date window, with guilt indices, green dial, green/red bezel and (wait for it...) Gold PVD coating all over it! Basically, the model Tudor copied for their new GOLD Blackbay :) And only 89 EUR! 2 weeks later I got my second Invicta, a Submariner "homage", the one with the blue dial, blue bezel and gold/silver bracelet. Shameles ripoff of the 126613LB, only 82 EUR! And my oppinion is that these 2 Invictas are on par with my Orient Kamasu in every area, except the crystal, and even surpass it in some areas (the 1953 is better finished, better put together, the end-links fit perfectly with the case, the bezel aligns perfectly and it has very good ratcheting action). And the accuracy of the NH35s is on par with the Orient: +30 seconds per week! If you compare the Invicta Submariner with the SNKL23, the only area where the SNK is superior is the lume, which lasts throughout the night. In every other area, the Invicta is superior. Even the lug width is perfect for strapaholics: 20mm. And it costs less. Yesterday I ordered the SNK381 (the 5 with numerals). Unbelievably hard to find in stock, the white and green - impossible to find in stock. Price? 122EUR. While most Automatic Pro-divers cost around 90 EUR, with the superior NH35.
I've written to Mondaine customer service regarding problems with faults and build quality issues with my new stop 2go wall clock but nobody has taken the time to reply to me, very poor service indeed and not what I would have expected considering how much I had to pay for it including £152 extra import duty the seller never advised me of, not your direct fault but your agent all the same. The faults I could sort myself with your advice software issue no but no emails at all. awful service
Yes, it was a rant. Yes, you're right. The joke is on the manufacturers; the bubble will burst. Also, the Chinese are kicking it out of the park.
This isn't journalism, it's just glazing a brand that makes watches that look like they've come out of a cereal box
Ah pretending there's no difference between men and women. You guys are such revolutionaries
It’s a damn shame they moved to 19mm lug to lug width. 20mm was perfect on the 114270.
UncleStraps President or Jubilee. There, done. You're welcome 👍
Great work Longines.
Fun fact-it comes from the same "stable" that makes Filippo Loreti watches, lol
Really? How can you tell?
@@jm311113 Google Montrichard Group and the brands they own
Beautiful watch packed with essentials, calendar, second hand dial, luminous dots, only wish it was 10 atm water resistant
Very nice video on a topic I'm quite interested in. Thank you. My $.02 is I prefer a more traditional, smaller watch, say, 36mm. All the best.
Love a vintage inspired field watch. I've owned a Smiths PRS-29a since 2018. It's an incredibly close recreation of the Smiths W10 with an ETA 2801. They cost around £500. I've put it through hell and it's been great. If you believe the Internet Smiths are impossible to get hold of, but I've bought several on their website now with no issues at all. I loved mine so much I pretty much stopped wearing my Oyster Perpetual, and I sold my Hamilton Khaki Mechanical.
Think I'll stick with the Vertex
I love my Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date 1501 that I believe was made in 1964 (based on the serial number)! I replaced the bracelet with a new one from Rolex. Wasn't cheap.
I was becoming convinced by this brand until 27:28 - how can that ‘VIII’ marker pass QC? The ‘I’s are clearly misaligned. But then I look on the website and the sample on there has exactly the same problem. Is this considered to be acceptable quality from Farer?
I wish Tag would remake it I have one but it’s rather battered
I had 3 Seiko Watch, 1 Baby Tuna Yellow fin, 1 Monster Antarctica (Special Edition) and 1 Seko 5 Orange Dial...... Not sure what Seiko watch next on my list
1. Why didn’t I buy one before they discontinued 😢 2- Why doesn’t Seiko bring this back? They would sell a TON!
GA 2100 is not big at all, I find it a bit small rather and I have a skinny wrist.
Nice watch but 15mm is way too thick. The new GMT 58 is perfect but no jubilee bracelet. Come on Tudor.
NATO straps are too awkward looking for me.
