  Just had this happen to me for the first time with my Pard 007S 850. I watched the hog come in on my thermal monocular and then switched to my rifle and turned on the illuminator. The hog looked up just a few seconds later stared right at me in the total darkness for about 15 seconds and took off. I made no noise and the wind was hard into my face so I'm sure he saw the glow of the illuminator. I have used it on many other occasions with no issues but I'm certain this one saw the light.

  Pigs run every time you start shooting. Silencers are the way to go. Only makes sense when they cannot hear you shoot.

  Once maybe had some slight chance to control this but no more. They have taken over completely and I can't see any possible way of regaining their land. This invasive have won out totally. All this brutality and it's in vain. Use a hundred men & guns...thousands and thousands of pigs increasing every day. Work to feed hundreds of people who are starving...it won't matter. This is a lost cause. We damn near wiped out bison/buffalo but not these. It is a lost cause. Feel so sorry for those afflicted but don't see anything helping this scourge ...had NO idea the magnitude of the problem.

  If I were the landowner, I would insist on watching your videos before I give you permission to continue hunting on my property. The following rules would apply: 1-everybody gets a first before anybody gets a second. Do not shoot a pig twice until you shot at other pigs and killed all the other pigs. 2-if you are too hesitant with pulling the trigger then I would find someone else to come and shoot my pics…(end it does look like you are too slow to shoot…. Thank God you were not a sniper covering me and my squad as we advance.) 3- you must show that you know how to lead and running pics and not be overfixated on a headshot when they are running. If I were the landowner, I would tell you these things and show me the next video and if you do not pass that criteria then I would find someone else to come and harvest my pigs.

  Как вы защищаетесь от свиней, когда они начинают бежать на вас? Знаю случаи, когда охотники погибали от атаки кабанов. Или это какие-то другие кабаны?
