I just want to point out that this is no different from when they mad Da Vinci gay in Brotherhood. Some historians have claimed for years that Yasuke & Nobunaga were lovers. I have no idea what evidence they have to support that conclusion, but that is where Ubisoft is getting this from, just like some historians claim that Da Vinci was gay despite very little evidence.

Depending on it's placement in a word, sometimes it is pronounced normally, but it can also either be cut short, or dropped almost entirely. In this case, Yah-soo-kay or Yass-kay are both acceptable, by most people. ^_^ (On the brighter side, at least you're not like some staunch 'i'll never learn proper pronunciation of foreign languages' type of person and pronounce it the way English rules dictate it would be.. 'Ya-sook'! O_o ) Naoe would be Na(h)-o(h)-ey, properly. But a close approximation would be something like 'Now-aye'.
