Yup, he's not as secure as Chris, he gonna take a popular role whether or not it's controversial. Not to mention as much as we online think that actors are keeping up with certain drama from fanbases, many REALLY are not and are clueless to a lot of things. Or the studios or their agents downplay things to convince them.

The majority of fans already stopped watching on season 3. Whether he’s a good Geralt or not won’t save this show in getting green lit for a season 5.

The show already got greenlit for Season 5. But it basically got cancelled. They are filming s4 and s5 together. Netflix wants to be done with it asap

It’s ending in the 5th season instead of the 7 originally planned

He's playing the good soldier to try to soft land the end of this show so that he's considered for other rolls by Hollywood. It won't work cause if Geralt and Dandelion end up involved in a romantic relation, something that the show runners have been wanting to do since season 1 which is totally against the lore. The fans will hate him. Hopefully he won't let them break the lore.

well, most actors, see acting as a job, they get a job, they do the job, they get paid for the job. he gets his pay if the show is a successful and if the show bombs. the truth is, until the actors wage/salary amount isnt tied to the products success, they will do the part if the pay is good enough.

The casting isn't the problem. I honestly think that Cavill wasn't even the best choice for Gerald. I would have preferred someone older....some one like Mads mikkelsen. Or at least looked older. The problem was the writing and directing.

It's a paycheck, and it's the most anyone has paid attention to Liam since the Miley Cyrus dating days. I'm hoping the showrunners learned something, and Liam does a fantastic job. However, I know the showrunners will fuck it up. But I do think Liam will do fine. Geralt's role will probably be pretty minor, anyway.

@@hollywoodpineapple8337 That's part of the problem though. It may have gotten that many seasons but they diverged from the source material and drew inconsequential storylines out. Now they will be tasked with trying to wrap up a mess they made. The source material is comprised of 8 books and to my knowledge they barely covered any of it. The number of seasons doesn't matter either, really good shows get cancelled deep in seasons (ex. person of interest), they are still cancelled.

He doesn't have Thor 💰.

The issue is not how he looks, the whole show is DEI infested and culturally appropriated mess and that was the case since season 1. The show doesn't follow Sapowski's worldbuilding or the plot.
