Tyrone…..am I the only one who thinks the concept of a lightsaber whip is extremely stupid? A straight bladed lightsaber can cut through anything and can be used to duel with other lightsabers, can this whip do the same when in whip form and if so, wouldn’t its use be pretty limiting? You can’t snag a tree branch or rock to swing on it like Indiana jones, wouldn’t a regular lightsaber tangled it up?

Githany and Lumiya in legends both used them and to great effect. Lumiya was a major problem for grandmaster Luke Skywalker. He had to use a red lightsaber shoto to be able to defeat her.
