Well I wouldn't say the police was destroyed. But they certainly ran in shallow water or hit something at high speed to bust off two lower units. That's a solid $20K in lower units and related parts for the tax payers. By the time the full repair is done with parts an labor you can bet it will be $100K or more because they will probably put 3 brand new engines on the boat.
If you want to make the manatees happy with the water, just lower the end of the hose in the water. They will grab it and put the hose in their mouth and drink it. Also for good measure, zoom in on people (women) bending over to give the manatees water. LOL
