Removing the fan WITH the exhaust port is not good... Better to pull the motor/fan alone so you don't have too remove your venting solution.

You will need to make sure your hopper lid switch and vacuum switch are working and make sure the stove and venting are completely clean.

It will eventually just go out because it wont be receiving any more fuel and there wont be any air flow.

Hi there! The fire in the fire pot is maintained by forced combustion air from an electric blower. Once the air stops, the fire will slowly smolder out. In addition, if the power is out, no additional pellets will be fed into the fire pot. Smoke from inside the unit will be pulled by draft, provided that you have 5’ of rise in the exhaust venting.

Love my pelpro 130, really puts out the heat, but it is a pain to clean. I got a little lazy and skipped a few cleanings, noticed soot on my counter tops,. Cant stress this enough, got to keep it clean.

When replacing, be careful to ensure the auger motor is resting on the mounting plate edge, so that it's trapped and the motor itself doesn't spin and unplug wires. If you replace it, 'id leave the side panel off while you start it up again and look to ensure the pin itself is spinning and not the motor itself. If this happens, unplug, take the pin out, and re-fit the motor so it can't freely turn, and ensure any wires didn't disconnect, including on the side where you start it up as that's where all the wires feed into.

MY PP60 WILL NOT SHUT OFF, IT WILL BURN UNTIL IT IS OUT OFF PELLETS OR I TURN THE CONTROL DIAL TO OFF. I REPLACED CONTROL BOARD,VAC SWITCH,TEMP PROB,CLEANED EVERYTHING IN THE SYSTEM. DOSE ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW WHAT COULD BE WRONG WITH IT. PLEASE NO SMARTASS RESPONCES. I NEED REAL ADVICE. THANKS

@herbertchaffin74 Did you find a solution? Mine is doing the exact same thing and I replaced EVERYTHING and cleaned EVERYTHING just like you. I even changed the snap disc and just ordered a new wire harness for the control board! Only difference is MINE WILL NOT TURN OFF! I literally have to turn off the surge protector or unplug the unit to make it turn OFF. The SCARIEST thing is that it turns ON and RUNS when turned OFF if the surge protector is on or the unit is plugged in.

Auger jams all the time, regardless of the pellets, you use if you run out of pellets, it’s very difficult to get the stove started again even following the instructions they provide in the owners manual, I would recommend not buying the stove it is not ready for prime time I had to drill holes in the bottom of the basket just so ample airflow would keep the stove running otherwise it was very finicky

Your manual doesn't say anything about needing the 4 foot of vertical rise. In fact, you have a picture of horzontial venting without any vertical rise.

@@pelprostoves6142 I am confused at this - the manual clearly shows in diagram the pipe going directly outside from the back through the wall and out. Yet, it states that any vertical makes it more efficient. So is it best to go out and then a 90 and up or from the back of the stove up and then outside through the wall?

If there is enough rise it will pull some of the smoke out of the home in a power outage during operation. I hope this helps! @@buster5643 Negative 1-4 will decrease the feed time and bump up the exhaust blower RPM. +1 will increase the feed and decrease the air +2-4 increases both feed and air.

For people wondering what the software update does, it adjust the parameters for how the stove runs. Mine ran great before the update but I had to crank the trim adjustment way up. Now with this update, is can turn the trim down and burn trough less pellets and keep my flame up. Took me a week of occasionally messing with the trim adjustment to fully dial it in but its looking good now.

My pelpro PP130 lost all power, I tested the snap disc and hot wired and still no power on anything on unit, yes I checked my power source, and all is fine, I think the circuit board went bad not sure, anyone else have this issue, I have only had it for a week bought new and was working great now No Power.
