  I haven’t played in a while but my first Pokémon I caught was a shiny bulbasaur and then during the entei event I got a shiny cyndaquill and then after a shiny pikachu

  Thats the problem with pokemon players. As a community we never go "too harsh" on the games. So they actually keep selling like Crazy. In the end of the day people feel like its just another good pokemon game that some ppl dint like it

  Pokémon dash was developed as a launch title for the original DS, and the "use your finger" concept did not mean your raw finger but the thumb stylus which was on the wrist strap. That's how I usually used to play it- still feels weird using a normal stylus.

  I wasn't aware that you can play as the other characters in multiplayer, so as a child I thought you would unlock them in single player if you perfected every course. That was a lot of wasted hours and effort.

  Small amount of new mons, but they were the highest quality we've received to this date, and it was with two starters with relatively disappointing evos (still like delphox and braixen, just not what I was hoping for). Aegislash was a fantastic follow up to probably my favorite ghost of all - Chandelure, Greninja is such a great design that a mon finally toppled Zard as the most popular, Talonflame is hands down the best regional bird we've ever had (again all design, not talking competitively) Then the mega evos. Sure, some Kanto fan service, not giving the Kalos starters megas felt very weird, but they were still a much welcome refreshment to the formula. I'm with you on this one Evie, I loved X and Y, I replayed each one numerous times. It doesn't mean that the criticisms aren't valid, but for whatever reason when it comes to pokemon, maybe it's just that I love the mons themself so much... but those complaints always seem minor when I'm actually playing the games... and that refers to pretty much any mainline game.

  Pokemon doesn't own an art style, some of these are pretty similar yeah, but the bits and pieces argument doesn't make sense, there are lots of Japanese franchises that these bits for their characters.

  It was many years after they stopped production, but when I was little and I loved Pokemon, my grandpa bought me those cheap pokemon figures that came with the candy containers in bulk, just without the candy and containers. I’m pretty sure I gifted them on a valentines day, but I do remember pretending to make a pokemon battle with two figures.
