I love watches. I am also "the everyday working man". I review and talk about affordable men's watches that the average Joe can afford and appreciate. I believe you don't have to spend thousands of dollars on a watch to get a quality piece that you are proud of. it has a nice design and somewhat affordable for a swiss watch brand but what turns me off about this watch is the F06.115 movement which is not serviceable but replaceable, the movement itself cost roughly about $150. while the automatic version it has some "plastic" parts in it. idk is it still worth it though? i like the design but i want a watch that last a longtime
its 149 at costco! Nice price!
Waiting for mine to turn up. A super sea wolf to fit my skinny wrist! Its rocking the egg colours 😁
I enjoyed your review! Subscribed.
Данный mesh-bracelet выглядит красиво, но по факту это является не удобной вещью на самом деле, я правильно вас понял? То есть не стоит его покупать, в итоге им не будешь пользоваться из-за не практичности? Заранее благодарю за ответную реакцию)
Of all my watches, this is always the first one I grab when going on a trip, or just running about. YOU are right, the crystal is the weakest point on this watch. My work watch is a Casio F-91 W, in case I run into any artificial Christmas trees ! I really do not know why, but this Citizen is my favorite watch.
All time fave. started a collection a few years back. found the elusive Costco blue dial today 04 July 2024 on eBay. Already have the Standard x2, Havana, Blue Angels and Black Ion, looking for the titanium and the white chapter rings. sigh! watches and mo watches...
Old Timex was great, but now is is so bad, sorry to say if you compare with Casio or Seiko, Timex fall far behind in terms of quality, durability and longevity at present.
Great video, and thank you for the Amazon UK tip!, I have been contemplating buying this watch for a while and just now pulled the trigger thanks to you, and saved $80 minimum in the process 🎉🎉
Some pristine looking Yashica’s there. One of the best P&S cameras ever made. Fantastic lens and, to this day, one of the greatest light meter’s ever put in a camera
That logo looks like straight from one piece 😂
I just bought one of these new and it contains a newer 8215 movement which does have hacking. So if you are looking to purchase one in the wild you may want to check for this.
I bought one of these from Proxima but I've never seen one. Never received the watch. And they kept the MONEY !!!!
I will skip it! Thanks.
Looks gigantic like an Invicta.
Fucking nice omega copy 😊
Wow…beautiful watch. I currently only own 1 Bulova, a nice dress watch (three hand dress watch w/date) that I picked up on sale. I would love to find a nice deal on a vintage Acutron. Thanks for the good vids…
Great vid…you had me laughing at times. Great point about this watch being affordable by the every day man. Looking foreword to getting a copy of this watch soon…
does the blue XL classic have lume numbers?
I’m not 100% sure and don’t want to tell you the wrong info. The one i own does not have numbers on the dial. Sorry, i can’t be of more help.
Just bought Army Green Chrono XL for $155!
Steeldives are phenomenal. I do have a 1953 quartz addiesdive coming for my kid. I'll compare the quality to my steeldive 1953.
PVD?
Good review. Seiko lost my business years ago. Their QC is atrocious.
Totally fails….fashion watch 24 hr. dial……….just worthless. Give me quality quartz with a 12 hr. dial & a 30 minute totalizer, NOT 60 minutes which is very hard to read even in light turbulence. Good review, Thanks
Shame they missed up on certain parts, Seiko drops the ball on many watches alas.
Why do people expect anything other than the substandard fayre Seiko have pumped out for the last 10 years? Especially where their woeful bracelets are concerned. It's because of this BS 'heritage' which is somehow supposed to be important. According to their pricing Seiko unbelievably believe they should be placed on the same level as Hamilton, Tissot or Christopher Ward... Seriously? They are absolutely nowhere near those stella brands. Seiko should be pricing themselves against AliExpress brands because that's where their quality and materials used places them.
What happened to your voice?
Uncle straps make a replacement clasp piece for this watch that gives an extra micro adjustment hole, does the job although it's a bit more rattle-y than the Seiko one
I was thinking about one of these for my next watch but noticed the lack of micro adjust on the clasp. Not so sure about it now.🤔
Not that I am much of a chronograph person. The overall pricing and QC issues at Seiko have killed the brand for me. Still, this seems like a nice effort. Shame about the bracelet though.
I could live with the bracelet and micro adjustments, but I can not stand the 24 hour dial on the right. It is so useless. And it is not this particular watch problem only. 😢
I am about to click and buy it so thanks for this very informative video. I set my mind on buying quality Japanese watch for under 100 euros. After few days of search I started to think this one might be a best deal. In that line of reasoning may I ask your opinion of Vagary watches?
Hello. Thanks for watching I’m not sure this watch is still for sale in the US. I haven’t seen it listed for a while. I have not heard of Vagary watches before so i can not offer any opinions them. Sorry.
the only thing i don't like is that it's hard to read the minutes track on the dial. the lack of date adjustment doesn't bother me as much.
Hi are these made in japan?
Just got one on sale!
Enjoy. 👍👍 this is one of my favorite watches.
Thank you! Saved my hide on this one. I don't like any red on my watches and as soon as you mentioned that sunday was red, that was my decision made. Thanks again!
Quartz is the way to go with the PRX given that the original was a quartz. To do the PRX name justice you need a period correct quartz.
Thanks for explaining the different models!
Does it have micro adjust?
There are no micro adjustments.
So "homage" is the new word for "copy?"
Thanks for this helpful review! Kind regards from Germany, Frank
Thanks for watching Frank. I appreciate it. 👍
Did you actually slander David Scott by saying he took a bribe to wear a certain watch?
What size in the strap?
The strap width is 18mm.
This is one of the better looking watches from Bulova. Most of their watches are ugly looking and they seemed to have missed the memo about the humongous dials being out of style nowadays.
Bracelet works just fine for me...
Greetings, I have had a Phoibos Wavemaster with a metal bracelet for more than two years and the wearing experience is positive, the watch is practically like the first day, even the logical micro scratches derived from use are very few and barely noticeable. Everything is in order. The only complaint I could have is a bracelet with edges, if not sharp, then annoying, and something similar happens with the relief of the back cover. Great watch, impossible to find more for that amount.
There's something about that Marc fella, he has shifty, beady eyes.
does the lumn work?
Hi williwmjc7195. Sorry this is an old video and i no longer have this watch. Looks like i did not mention the lume in this video (sorry this is one of my early videos). Seiko lume is typically good just a question of how much of it is on the dial. Sorry i don’t have a lume shot to share with you.
@@EricsEverydayWatches thanks for feedback, anyway.
Hello friend, I have seen the GMT model and I wanted to ask you, is it worth buying the GMT or this model? The GMT on the website tells me that it would not arrive here in Spain until August, thanks friend
Hello diegom-g7187. I have not seen the GMT of this watch so i can not comment on that watch but i just reviewed a GMT of another watch (the islander Port Jefferson) and my take away was personally, i don’t have a need to track multiple time zones. So the GMT function did not turn out to be a benefit for me personally. I think the biggest question to ask yourself. Are you thinking of getting a GMT to track multiple time zones ( and do you have a need for that) or do you simply like the look and technical aspect of a GMT. Hope that helps.
@@EricsEverydayWatches @EricsEverydayWatches Thank you very much for your attention friend and response, really I would barely use the GMT option, I think I'm going to buy the model without GMT, thank you and congratulations for videos
My fav watch but it won’t charge anymore and stop working 😢
