Great review, Eric! I felt the exact same after reviewing their salmon dial. Still think I’m going to purchase one for myself soon haha. This green dial looks much better than the website photos.

Thanks Harvind. I feel some of islander watches could benefit from better photography on their website and this is definitely one of them. It’s much nicer looking in person. It’s a great summer time watch.

Great review. I love the looks of this watch. However, the lack of defined 60 minute markers is an issue for me. You are the first reviewer that I have seen to bring attention to this detail. I had not noticed until you pointed it out. Thanks👍🏻

Yes i agree the clasp on islanders is the regular milled lower, stamped upper. But it's still very comfortable. Thank you for tgus review and reminding me i have 3 islanders on my wishlist. This one and the fireball and the new roslyn.. 😂

Hi Anne615frank. Are you referring to a quick adjust clasp? I hadn’t thought about one of those. All in all, I think this is a good clasp but you’re right, that would be an improvement.

Since you mentioned that the watch has the 9015 movement that makes the watch a better value for the money. Its just a matter of whether you like the design or not? Looks like a nice watch.

Nice review. This watch has a lot going for it. Wish they had gone for an aluminium bezel instead though as the shiny ceramic steals attention from great dial imho. Just my 2 cents.
