For me, being gay isn't a choice I made, and having sat on my hands on this issue for the last 50 years, I am still discovering my sexuality.

The US sent tons of weapons and supplies. The whole reason Ukraine is winning is because US backed help. And we meant Ukraine and Israel. Anytime a country is attacked, the US is there to offer help. That doesn’t always mean manpower but it means we provide weapons and supplies to help the victims of these unwarranted attacks against Ukraine and Israel.

This year's Pride Parade in Ukraine was interrupted by an "opposing" group who made their own parade "for traditional values". As a Ukrainian I was very saddened by this.

I say this as a gay man so please don't take this as anti-gay, but a lot of the information presented in this video feels stretched, especially when it comes to Captain Roberts. He was not in a homosexual relationship with George Wilson and his crew regularly courted (or worse r*ped) women whenever they got to land. I think when we equate strong male bonds and friendships between men as suggesting there being a homosexual nature to it, we are reinforcing a damaging idea that men being close and affectionate of one another means they have sex and as a result men continue to subtract physical affection with another in their friendships which is not a healthy concept.

Did Hoover actually use the word 'paedophile'? I thought that word came much later because child-molesters wanted a more formal word than 'child-molester' at a time when gays wanted to get away from the medical-sounding 'homosexual'.

You know, this isn't a comment related to this video, i just thought that we as people, can appreciate this moment, each other, the fact that there's something that unites us I'm just glad to be in comment section with most of you. Honestly, part of me is hateful for no reason, hateful towards things. It doesn't feel good, i feel like if i'm happy, it'd make me look weaker & easier to exploit Hating good people for parts of their selves which some may not understand, isn't right It's just cool that we all have some sort of safe spaces. If u feel sad, u can go out of your way & make someone happy. Tell them a joke, remind them of something good, make them feel valued. Those are good things to do Maybe making someone happy will make u happy We are always left with reminders of the errors we have made. Let your mistakes not burden you, but serve as guidespots on where not to travel For those with good heart, i wish u the best, it's not much, if u get love, i hope u will have more of it, if u don't, i hope u'll find it If u are bad in some way, i hope that u will change for better, hatred is a burden, it sucks the life out of you & turns u into husk of a person I hope that this comment made at least someone feel good/better

This comment did make me feel better Thanks! This year I went from a conservative to a part of the lgbtq community and I joined an lgbtq subreddit. Sometimes I do get feelings of being called back to the side conservatives but I don't litsen to them because being just like what you said being a part of the community makes me feel happier than just...hating something that you dont understand and carrying that burden. Also what did being me hope for more acceptance was the fact that last year I heard females assigned at birth talking positively about trans-women! :)👍

@@alexandercellante7553 Well, i hope that ur journey will have a happy ending. I'm glad that u are enjoying yourself I used to be transphobic (I didn't believe that trans woman were woman e.t.c.) & (probably) right leaning I don't know, seeing people have too much joy at times, makes me feel angry, that anger goes against my actual thoughts. My past beliefs aren't the only reason for unreasonable hatred i have Please, just be better than me.

I think if you look and act like 1 sex then you should use that 1 sex bathroom as if you were born as it. Or else don't use the opposite sex bathroom if you don't want hate or get introuble...... I think why trans and crossdresser used the opposite sex bathroom because ot matches there gender identity, and they love it and wish it......

Increased illegal immigration probably = increased Second and Third World bigotry. A shift in demographics is a shift in ideology. Also, the idea of sexual alteration of children is something that gays need to distance themselves from, like they distanced themselves from NAMBLA.

I just came out this past pride month and when all the hatred started to get widespread, I was like “of course the month I come out I have to deal with this bs.” After that I realized that I am lucky to even be out of the closet and alive today. I attempted suicide at age 10 and there are still countries where being someone like ourselves would be illegal. Remember that progress and that will help motivate you to move forward.

I kinda had a lot of signs I was pan and trans in similar ways but different lol.... Thank you for sharing your story, it is amazing. and I can relate to it but different, and I got to the rank of eagle. I hated those locker room style showers and instead went to the indivudal showers. I had scout leaders get mad at me for covering my chest and trying to swim with shirts on. It took me till I was in my 30s to get the courage to come out to my family despite dressing and presenting the way I am for years. I wish I had sooner.

I know I'm a bit late, but I'm a heterosexual male. I will give you guys the perspective of the straights like me. So LGBTQ+ has received tons of hate recently, and from a straight like me, it's because the fact that Pride is seen everywhere nowadays. Pride gets more attention than things like veterans, and it has made people blind to the existence of men's mental health month. The biggest part is the fact that children are being included. Children are going to the "family friendly" Pride parades. They are being taught the concept of transgenders. They are being shown unholy things in school. And especially the parents who make up the dumbest excuses to make their children transgender even though they don't even fully understand what it is or what it does. Another part is the people that make Pride their entire personality. We are seeing people who once wanted to be tolerated become tolerated, and now they are demanding respect which that itself is not worthy of respect. Now don't get me wrong here, both sides are definitely in the wrong. Straight people should absolutely not threaten gay people or trans people let alone kill them. You guys too are worthy of respect because you are just as human as the rest of us. In my opinion, both sides could definitely do better.

I was very distressed on all social medias, i dont really have, like, a social life outside of the internet, doing anythung cost tons of money. So the internet and social media were my favorite place to be in. But in pride it was all just so negative, so horrible and terrible. I just wish for people to get along. But a new perspective changed me. It was always the same 5 people, i never saw more, maybe they vary, but it was always consistently just 5 people in those comments. They were the ones fighting and screaming like babies, spouting ignorance and hatred towards everyone, they are not many. They are just the same 5 people. And that made me feel better, also more productive because then i would'nt spend much time in social media.

i love how people say: "we need gendered restrooms and to not allow trans people so that little girls dont get assaulted!!11" even though having single person restrooms that aren't gendered would solve that "issue". someone couldn't walk in and assault your kid, if theres only one person in there at a time. having gender neutral and single person bathrooms is like the biggest solution. plus, you only have to maintain one bathroom, and one stall. i have experienced way more safety in those walk in bathrooms with just a toilet and a sink with a door that locks, then in a thin walled stall with a crappy loose lock with multiple people in there. SOME GENDERED BATHROOMS DONT EVEN HAVE STALL DOORS!! cishets are missing the solution entirely and blaming it on trans people.
