    We like the V-6 ..then the turbos…less cost to fix .. Nissan is more reliable..then the new 2024 Tacomas…

    The bottom line will be the price, maverick was attractive because of its affordability for most buyers.

    Midsize Pickup Sales Numbers U.S. 2024 (YTD) GCBC: Tacoma (69,437) -- 40.57% under 2023 (YTD) Colorado (41,823) Frontier (39,964) + 17.06% over 2023 (YTD) Gladiator (23,480) Ridgeline (19,922) Canyon (16,835) Ranger(15,175) Looks like pretty good numbers to me. Personally I would buy a new Frontier if my 18 year old (2006 Frontier 4.0 V6 6MT) ever dies. It may outlast me though (laughing)...

    I am considering one when I go shopping this weekend. While trucks here in Thailand are significantly less expensive than the US, the Hilux is still 20-25% more than a Ford Ranger so I may go that route.

    This vehicle was not meant for the US market. The video explains clearly all the downsides. This vehicle is well fit for areas where you will use the truck to work, carry your stuff, for it to be reliable, not speedy, not comfy. You definitively do not need that while driving in a narrow winding dirt road carrying cofee bags, btw, that is what I would use it for. This vehicle was meant to work for you and your business.

    Baloney, a real 6 cylinder naturally aspirated engine gets an avg 170-300k. Tried and true. Turbo -hybrid suck, you will pay an arm and a leg to repair tubo-hybrids. Certainly will not get much of a life span. Frontiers are selling, pricing starting to fall on all. See Scotty Kilmore re: this.

    I am not taking any advice off a guy with 1.7 subs,,,,your wrong on about everything you said about this truck, most not all have no problem with the your quote cheap interior of the Colorado Trail Boss,,,the reason they and the other competitors aren’t selling is due to Biden Nomics ,,,that’s it nothing more! I love my Colorado Trail Boss, it has power seat, tow package, cameras everywhere 4 wheel drive, spray in liner, damped Tail gate with storage and same touch screen as the ZR2 etc etc I NEED NOTHING MORE!

    I miss the true fullsize broncos. Built on a half ton chassis not a ranger. Frames around the door glass, rear glass rolls down into tailgate and solid roof over driver. Ford trying too hard to make it a Jeep, keep your removable top and doors and give me a rugged suv that can still tow a boat, go off-road and don't have to crank up the radio to drown out the wind noise please FORD! Oh yeah, don't forget the V8!!!

    You cant tow if your Jeep, Chevy, and ford are at the shop getting repaired.😂😂, Toyota your paying over 50 k for a 4 cylinder turbo which toyota is have issues with there power terrain at the moment on their v6 hybrid. So right now Frontier is selling like hot cakes. Great job but do alittle bit more research.

    I enjoy videos that offer criticism, but I would say purchasers of the Frontier truck don't care about the old tech or specifically purchase this truck because it is old tech. Every added bell and whistle can spell trouble down the line.

    None of these features are planned for the 2025 model year. In fact, no 2.3 hybrid powertrain exists yet in Fords lineup. The Maverick uses a 2.5 hydra i3 for its hybrid and the F150 powerboost uses the 3.5 v6

    A two door, single cab with a useful length bed would be a great option and the only one in this segment, that's exactly why they won't make it. The non turbo 4 in a single cab at a base price would sell like crazy, another reason why they won't build it.

    🛑 It sounds great except for the turbo and if the bed is any less than 5 ft. Long and 4 ft wide. It's America. Standard sizes are at least 4 ft wide and 8 ft long. So like I say you can actually haul stuff if it's 4 ft wide and 5 ft long with a tailgate shut. Anything less is not a useful truck !! Honda Ridgeline so far for the past two decades have been the most practical runaround truck I've owned, especially with a trunk. And when I say run around that's with stuff in the back and I don't have to fold my mirrors in to go through a drive-thru, yes, I've had big diesels also that's a thing of the past.

  • @Rickywwx
    @Rickywwx9 минут бұрын

    But if you need that much (5+ft bed), why are you not shopping a Taco? A compact truck is just for getting around 95% of the time & hauling shit only about 5%

    Just bought a 2024 Frontier King Cab with 6 ft bed and couldn't be happier. This must be a Toyota shill add. Keep your 4cyl turbo engines and short beds. I'll stick with the proven Nissan 6cyl. Sticker price 10 to 12 thousand cheaper than a Toyota rated at 310 horsepower.

    As far as I am concerned, to hell with your outdated powertrain idea. Nissan is the only one left with a decent powertrain. There are enough people out there to realize the small engine turbo charged trucks are going to wear out much faster and don’t want anything to do with them. Only reason Nissan is having sales problems is the same reason everyone else is having sales problems, everyone is fucking broke and do not have the money to invest in these overpriced new vehicles no matter who makes them Nissan is the only one left with a reasonable powertrain and truck as far as holding up and lasting for the long-haul.
