I'm happy with my 24 Canyon Denali.. Florida, so it's a beach buggy, not a rock crawler.. Only 2 months old so I will see how it goes. Lots of comments on the design.. Ride is almost smooth car like for a truck on 20's

3.0 Duramax, and a V6 option would be cool. Tell me you got rid of the plastic oil pan.

I don't think I'm interested in a hybrid but more power is always better. Strong transmission. How about a selectable rear locker in an ATX? Dump the G80. I like this truck and an extended cab version with a larger bed rounds out the list of wants. We'll see. The economy needs to turn a bit before I'll part with the cash.

The AT4X already has front and rear select able lockers. Unlikely to get an extended cab and v6 as they've seen little to no loss in sales compared to previous years that offered them. All these Canyon/Colorado 2025 videos are speculation off a single post on the Colorado/Canyon fan forums.

Hey GMC Home run on the Design. Get the reflectors off the fender flairs, and color match to the the truck. Go back to the manual headlight light switch. Get the white out of the interior on the AT4X ! Use some carbon fiber. Offer a led lightbar in the grill. Then I will buy one

You forgot to ask for a power rear window and the multifunction tailgate. They can keep the built in cooler/ stash compartment in the tailgate. Give me a V6 as well.

Does anyone seriously want the multi function tailgate? Sounds like a huge waste of money to me.

@@mildbill222 I would definitely like to have one. I’m about tired of trying to get items in and out of the bed of my full size truck. If I downsize I would opt for one if offered. A power sliding rear window would also be nice. I’ve got a 2016 Sierra and it has one. GMC can keep the cute little built in cooler/ storage compartment I’ll have the multi function tailgate please.

Not a plug in hybrid don’t like plug ins a regular hybrid is better where you can just drive and the engine will charge the battery

In my opinion I don't think a hybrid is better than a Phev . For one thing charging a battery by burning gasoline is not the most economical way to go. Second you won't get a long range with a hybrid on electric. If you pay 12cent's per kwh as I do it will cost you about 1.60 to change too full . And will be able to travel 30 to 40 miles , so I think a PHEV vehicle is the way to go, plus there is no range anxiety compared to a total Ev.

It is Still a GM product with no reliability and no way a 4banger turbo will last more than 125k miles. Beautiful body but junk under the hood, Time will prove this statement to be true.

This comment is steeped in ignorance. We’ve had two Canyons (2nd gen) go well beyond 300k on the original power train with minimal issues. The 2.7L is built like a diesel, and has been shown to be more reliable than the 5.3L V8 in the Silverado so far. We now have four 2.7Ls in our small fleet and we run ~1k miles a week, so I’ll keep the ‘tubes posted.

I am curious how you came up with this conclusion? The engine has a block very similar to a diesel engine and has 2 timing chains ( for increased reliability ) The turbo is a bit better than a naturally aspirated engine when driving in high altitudes. So please let us know how you think so little of this truck? What do favor? A Jeep??😶‍🌫️

@@Holden-McGroin Turbos last around 150k miles. the 2nd gen had a 4banger, but not with turbos completely different maintenance and a lot of people don't know how to properly take care of them, as with the thousands of videos of ecoboost exploding.

Well, we now have four of these engines in our fleet and do 30-60k miles per year depending on which truck, so I should have some data/experience to report within a few years. I’ve already heard of several of the engines with over 200k miles with zero issues. Time will tell.
