  I remember I was in 7th grade when the Kony thing happened, half of the kids had smart phones or iPods and were spreading who was Kony and why it’s important and a summary when I asked was “kony is a warlord in Africa and they want Obama to send in troops to save the kids who are child soldiers” and after a while it just went away and I saw someone spray painted stop Kony on a wall in the school and gym locker room. I didn’t even know anything else until I saw the internet historian video about this event
