  Makes you confident, that’s what it’s all about. I really struggle with sizes. I would say I am a medium, but some mediums fit way too small, some way too big. Like you, when I find something I like that fits well I always want all the colours

  I love the idea of this series and plan to watch each one with great interest. I also really enjoyed the scoring system and could see the challenge with being fair but authentic in grading the different attributes. WELL DONE!

  As a fellow watch collector I'm a bit ambivalent about micro brands. I have several and some are definitely better than others. I have a Stratton, (I'll say their name because I think they're fantastic!) that I would definitely buy from again. For a micro brand I was blown away by the high quality at their price point. I have another that will be nameless, not because the watch was bad, indeed I enjoyed it for years but there were a few minor issues that came about and now the company is out of business, I think. They no longer have a website, so I can't go back to them with repairs or any issues. If a Micro brand fails, you no longer have a valid warranty or place to go to for any issues that may arise. It's a hit or miss and you're taking a bit of a risk.

  Excellent presentation. I had never heard of the brand before. Will all the micro brands have an “element of James Bond” in the theme ? If so and heys it’s Bond’s Appartment” after all - shouldn’t the series be called Micro Bond Brands …

  Historically the Palladium boot never was meant to be waterproof, they were meant to breathe and release water out the boot fast. They were meant for the Indochina war so waterproofing never was an option.

  I have the Rolex Explorer because it's the watch always worn by Ian Fleming as he wrote the Bond books.... And why he wrote that James Bond wore a Rolex. As others have mentioned he now wears Omega because they paid to do so.

  Great review though! Was looking at the Mace Windu ones (purple is boss) but the lightsabers on the arms pulled me over, shame there isn't a bit of blue on them though. :(

  I’m sorry but the factory finish on the clasp originally is not polished, but brushed… for sure scotch pad method is best for that finish.. anyway great video! Keep em coming!

  Upvoting because I like you bro but I cannot agree with your premise. The Rolex submariner was the original and the best - just like Sean Connery himself. I do have a soft-spot for Pierce Brosnan and his watch was cool - but it was quartz so I don't think its as cool as the Rolex sub. But mainly what kills the Omega for me is its association with Daniel Craig's Bond. After NTTD I would like to disassociate myself from all aspects of Daniel Craig's portrayal of Bond as much as possible - and lean into the icons of the Classic-era of Connery|Moore|Dalton|Brosnan more. So - for me at least - I actually consider Seiko to be more "Bondian" than Omega. That's just me - but yes I hate Daniel Craig's Bond that much that I just don't want to wear or own anything associated to it. Daniel Craig's Bond wasn't Bond in my eyes - it was some alternate universe Red Grant pretending to be Bond.

  Hi, I’m 180 cm (around 5’11 if I’m not wrong) and weight like 80 kg. I haven’t found a brand that sells leather jackets with more of a normal/loose fit. Do you think a size L of this would fit normal and not like slim fit?

  It's a hot take Luke, but one that I generally agree with. I could have bought any watch, but to scratch the Bond itch (a little itch, down there), I had to go with the classic SMP 300 2531.80. Either the Quantum Planet Ocean, or the Skyfall PO will be next, but the SMP 300 was my grail, and now that I have it, it's made it quite hard to want to buy something else. Love the video! Was looking forward to it after seeing the teaser on Insta!

  Bond did wear a vintage omega chronograph towards the end of Spectre that was not a seamaster. Hard to see but it was there.

  There is no one quintessential Bond watch. The shear number of brands (Rolex, Gruen, Breitling, Tissot, Seiko, Pulsar, TAG Heuer, and Omega) featured in the movies back this up. What there is, is Fleming’s personal watch choice and book watches, Rolex, Bond watch. The Connery era, non gadget Bond watches. The Roger Moore, gadget era, Bond watches. The transitional actor era Bond watches. Finally, the paid for, product placement era, Omega Bond watches. There are two brands most associated with Bond and that is Rolex and Omega. The Submariner and Seamaster will forever be linked with Bond.
