Great collection Luke. Family watches are always the ones I am fascinated in. As styles change, older watches might not necessarily be what we would buy ourselves, but they end up becoming favourites and priceless due to the family connections

Very nice collection man. I want to get a vintage omega dress watch but they are so small for my huge wrists and hands that it always scares me they may look like a woman's watch on me. Haha. But I really like the way those look, classy and refined.

Great content Luke! You’re lucky that you have family members that have given you watches as they mean so much that way. I wasn’t blessed like that but I collect them now with the understanding that I will be passing them down. Someone has to be the first link in the chain, might as well be me.

Nice vid. I also got my first Volstok because of a movie (Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou). Unfortunately I gave it away. I have another one now tho but I need to buy that Scuba Dude again. Love the Pluto - it was the one I wanted when I first saw the collection.

Great video and collection! While I don’t have the cool family stories of acquiring watches that you do, I do have some that mean a lot to me. I have a gold Bulova given to me by my wife as a wedding present that has the Masonic square and compass on the face. I also have a Bulova Marine Star which was my Seamaster homage that I wore right up until my wife bought me the 2531.80 Seamaster for my 50th birthday. I also have a Seiko SKX007 that I’m particularly proud of. With this video, you’ve inspired me to look for a nice leather strap for the Seamaster to dress it up a little.

Bulava, Junghans and Omega? Wow your grandfather has great taste in watches! The Junghans might be kind of rare, it could be a Meister but I'm not sure. (BTW it is pronounced Young'hans). Great collection!

Phonetically I understand the brand, Junghans is pronounced “Yoong Hans.” Think of the pronunciation of the name of the famous psychiatrist, Carl Jung. Ps. Great video! I love that some of your pieces were heirlooms!

Luke great collection!!! You should buy a Casio, they are cheap and good quality. I recommend you the "DW-290", worn by Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible I (1996). I have it, i`ts Very Cool.
