Welcome to The Driveway Shop.
I call it that because my garage is very small and I do a majority of my work in the driveway, whether it is fixing or repairing any of mine or my family or friend's vehicles, or doing random projects. Some of these are centered around my Triumph GT6, and others are metal shaping/welding. I've got other hobbies I like showcase here as well, such as stop motion animation, which sometimes even makes it's way into my videos.

Question Once you get the actuator arm placed with the grease back in and put the plug back in do you have to Lift the arm when you install pump or once in place with the grease you just bolt your pump back on Thanks in advance
I didn't have to, not sure if it would be required though, depending on the position of the cam lobe
How to replace routers in 2007 mazda5
I don't know if 07 is the same as 08.
Thanks, the fuel pump and push rod thing was exactly what I was looking for.
Glad I could help.
Thanks
This look awesome:-) can you do one for me and ship it? Let me know the cost please. I want to put that on my motorcycle;-)
Thanks! I enjoy doing these. I could make another but I probably have 10 hours on it. Even as low as $25/hour you're looking at $250.
@@drivewayshop thank you for the quick reply. I will think about and let you know. Currently these cost are a bit over my budget but this looks really amazing I am sure this worth every dollar. Well done. Have a good day.
You didn't have to calibrate the new switch?
Is that a thing? That said, it's working fine still
@@drivewayshop I had to do it for three different Instant Pots I replaced that switch with, otherwise it would not reach proper temperature or over shoot it so it over pressurizes and blows out the ring seal
Good to know. I'll look it up. Thanks! So far it hasn't been a problem
Can u tell me the name of this thing??
@@msparwana3226 instant pot pressure switch. Make sure you get one for your specific brand/model
Text looks like the TRIUMPH on a Dolomite Sprint valve cover
Amen, absolutely beautiful! Another Triumphant project!
*You never cease to amaze me my friend... Great job!! That looks really good man.*
Cool
Hi
Water blasting sand creates rust
Yes. I believe I addressed this in the video, but thank you for mentioning it again, always a good reminder. It needs to be properly treated when finished.
Right on looks great! You shelved another project.
Can you help me error is E4
I've never encountered this error. Googling shows to first turn it off for 5 minutes and see if it resets. There was also wipe out the bottom if it's wet. Maybe replace the sensor if these don't work. Granted, I have no experience with that code, so I can't say that the above suggestions are what you need. Good luck
Love it!!! Oh and pretty fast truck,
Thanks!
Such a cool project Hazen. You are super talented with all your metal work.
Thanks! I'm still learning, but I pay attention to those that are much better than I
Cool I’m impressed with your pressing projects. 😊
Nice work sir!
Thank you! Simple but there you go
Right on!!
I think you have found yourself a nice little side gig.
If I charged for labor these would be $500-$1000 😉 Granted, a large portion of time is figuring out just how to make it work the way I want. A second would go quicker.
I love your work it’s plane to see. Keep it up, your work is taking off.
*That's really cool man!! Make me one.... I'll even pay ya for it... Seriously...* *And the SR71!!*
What about the flex brake hoses
Very cool! Well that’s the Brakes.
Wow lots of patience and work.
Thanks!
I saw a video maybe on ClassicCarRestoration where they glued the foam on before doing the detail lines, so they came out nice and poofy.
That was my intent. I must have done something different, but I like the way it turned out.
Nice work, l would of given up! I have a spitfire. I epoxyed the shifter boot screw holes on my cardboard tunnel. You could fry an egg on my right thigh. I bought that heat shielding you see over catalytic converters. The stuff is on my bench now. Hope it works.
I'll need to get some decent heat shielding most likely. Factory is hardboard, or there's ABS or fiberglass but this sucker is steel. I haven't noticed the heat yet and I've been driving it with nothing covering it.
Looks great to me!
So you did acknowledge that it’s improper placement! Yeah, it’s just a better shade of lipstick on a pig. NOT everything that A DPO does is correct. Sometimes it’s better to bite the bullet on time and do things correct just shows more personal pride and professionalism in my estimation. Once again, it’s your car.👍
I’d like to pause you right here and have you ask yourself a question. Since when, have you ever seen a restored GT 6, MK I,I or III, virtually any year it doesn’t matter with the exhaust tail, extending out to the side as opposed to the rear ??😳😳 If that was done, I think I have ought to “tax you” on one of your first statements, the DPO (dreaded previous owner)! What is also denoting is that perhaps the exhaust pipes are too long? And, perhaps they need to be shortened, put in proper alignment, along with proper hangers, extending well below the fuel tank with insulation to correct placement out the direct rear of the vehicle.. Just saying . Of course it’s your car you can do whatever you want., to me, it looks like a hasty repair or a hasty installation.
Thanks for the input. Very valid points. I'll eventually put it right, but it works for now and I have other projects I'd like to finish first.
Wow
Cool, at least the radio is Active!
Beautiful work. Very inspiring
Right? Glad to help anyone with a nudge 😁
@@drivewayshop I especially enjoyed the demolition sequence
Love it!
Wow so cool.
I see you at least got your bearings. 😊
Better my bearings than someone else's 😜

Could be! Could be...
Such a cool little project.
Thanks Steve! ... Stay tuned for more 😉
Yay!
So cool!
Right on!
*Yay!!!* 🤘🏼👽 🔧🛠️🚜
Cool, love it!!
Cool love it!
Thanks Rocky!
Good try, buddy. Regardless of the prop spinning, it looks cool!
Thanks Chris. I've got a few more planned. Maybe another plane will work.
Way cool, nicely done. Perhaps some white lithium might help the prop?
Maybe... I've got some spray Teflon lube. That may do the trick. Thanks!
I didn't lube it at all, but it's started spinning.
Looks great!
Thanks!
😬
The seals on gate and window are shit water gets in. Put some dialectric grease on connections . You might have just had it all apart long enough for everything to dry out enough to work.
Thanks for the tip. I've been on an escape forum on Facebook for a while and see a lot of complaints with these buggers. Glad it's my sister's. 😉
Maybe you could slit a small hose and glue it on the edge of the shroud?
That's a great idea! Thanks
@@drivewayshop You could as an alternative use the chrome door edge protector. This is BritsNSpits BTW.
@@michaelstoliker971 I recognize your name from around the various forums. Chrome is a nice idea. Should be good for an extra HP or two 😁
