Making a Spitfire Hood Ornament

The last hood ornament got me thinking...So I had to make another.
This time, a Supermarine Spitfire, mostly from scrap.
So, enjoy this build.
More to come...

Good try, buddy. Regardless of the prop spinning, it looks cool!

Thanks Chris. I've got a few more planned. Maybe another plane will work.

Way cool, nicely done. Perhaps some white lithium might help the prop?

Maybe... I've got some spray Teflon lube. That may do the trick. Thanks!

I didn't lube it at all, but it's started spinning.

Thanks! I enjoy doing these. I could make another but I probably have 10 hours on it. Even as low as $25/hour you're looking at $250.

@@drivewayshop thank you for the quick reply. I will think about and let you know. Currently these cost are a bit over my budget but this looks really amazing I am sure this worth every dollar. Well done. Have a good day.
