So you did acknowledge that it’s improper placement! Yeah, it’s just a better shade of lipstick on a pig. NOT everything that A DPO does is correct. Sometimes it’s better to bite the bullet on time and do things correct just shows more personal pride and professionalism in my estimation. Once again, it’s your car.👍

I’d like to pause you right here and have you ask yourself a question. Since when, have you ever seen a restored GT 6, MK I,I or III, virtually any year it doesn’t matter with the exhaust tail, extending out to the side as opposed to the rear ??😳😳 If that was done, I think I have ought to “tax you” on one of your first statements, the DPO (dreaded previous owner)! What is also denoting is that perhaps the exhaust pipes are too long? And, perhaps they need to be shortened, put in proper alignment, along with proper hangers, extending well below the fuel tank with insulation to correct placement out the direct rear of the vehicle.. Just saying . Of course it’s your car you can do whatever you want., to me, it looks like a hasty repair or a hasty installation.

Thanks for the input. Very valid points. I'll eventually put it right, but it works for now and I have other projects I'd like to finish first.
