  I have used this app for 3 or more years. Works great, I even use it while playing songs on my phone to see what the BPM of the original is.

  These kits punch way above their weight in mic’d up live or studio situations. I love mine to death. I also have a higher end kit in the 3k range but still used my Stage Custom kit PLENTY.

  I am experiencing a strange situation, I installed live BPM now for 3 years, and it has been very useful, but for some reason today, the app on my iPhone is not registering any tempo of the scale, even though the orange light in the phone indicates the microphone is on, it works on the iPads app but not the iPhone, do you have any idea why..no response from the app developers! cheers John

  Sorry, just saw this. Make sure the pause button is disengaged. And I would reboot the iPhone. If that doesn’t work, I’d delete the app and reinstall. Let me know. Thx

  I have one of these in black wood that I got back when they were blowing them out, right before Yamaha moved the bulk of their manufacturing out of Japan. I love it! 12,tt 14ft, 16ft, 22bd. I've not considered selling it, but I'm curious since you mentioned that due to their rarity they were starting to get expensive, what kind of prices have you seen them going for?

  They sound great with them empor heads Dan.i just removed the stock ambassadors and replaced top heads with the remo pinstripe to give them a try.

  Just came across your year old video,love your kit and color choice, absolutely beautiful. I own a star walnut kit as well,absolutely love them.The fit,finish,and quality of sound is incredible. I have the matching snare,6-1/2×14 as well. It is the best sounding snare I've probably ever owned. Enjoy your drums sir.

  I have the same kit but in classic white, i added on an extra rack tom and floor tom, put some differnt heads on the toms n snare..the snare can actually sound pretty good, although rite now im using a pearl piccalo with it.

  @IrishPablo94 22 inch kick, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16. But I take the 14 inch tom off at times. And the snare varies but u like the stage custom that came with it. It's solid

  @@IrishPablo94 remo emperor clear heads for the toms. A remo coated ambassador is always good on the snare.

  The Rogers toms stand out and seem have something extra goin on. Other than being great drums, you think it could be that they're undersized? (I've read that anyway)
