DanRH is a guy who has been playing drums since the mid 60's. Here he plays his Gretsch Broadkaste kit on his deck on a cold December day in Northern California.
Dan's got many drum sets and make sure to check out all his Playing My...videos. He demo's all nine kits he currently owns.
His goal is to show you how the drum set sounds as natural as possible. Without a lot of process or mixing. One mic was used recording this video (a Tascam DR-05X Linear PCM Recorder).

Evans EV1 heads are used on the toms and a coated Remo Powerstroke3 on the bass drum. The snare has a Remo coated Ambassador head.
