DanRH is a guy who has been playing drums since the mid 60's. Here he plays his beloved Yamaha Absolute Hybrid Maple kit on his deck on a cold December day in Northern California.
Dan's got many drum sets and the Yamaha Absolute Hybrid Maple kit is one of his favorites (he actually says that about all his drums).
His goal is to show you how the drum set sounds as natural as possible. Without a lot of process or mixing. One mic was used recording this video (a Tascam Dr-05X Linear PCM Recorder).

14x6 Snare in Polar White
Tom heads are the OEM Remo heads which are essentially Remo Clear Emperor heads. Bass Drum is a Remo Coated Powerstroke 3. Snare head is a coated Remo Ambassador.
