DanRH is a guy who has been playing drums since the mid 60's. So, it's appropriate that he would want to play his Rogers Holiday kit in the blue Onyx wrap (original) on his deck on a cold December day in Northern California.
Dan's got many drum sets and the Rogers is his only "vintage" kit. And they stand up in his opinion to any of his other kits. His goal is to show you how the drum set sounds as natural as possible. Without a lot of process or mixing. One mic was used recording this (a Rode VideoMic NTG) used as an overhead.

Also, he mentions his original Memriloc hardware. He meant to say Swivomatic.
Evans UV1 heads were used on the toms and a Remo Powerstroke 3 is on the bass drum. A Remo coated Ambassador is on the snare drum.
